The Forces Foundation - Defence Academy Nagpur

Combined Defence Services Exam (CDSE) results for July 2019 Courses declared by UPSC New Delhi on 03 May 2019. More than 40 % CDS exam seats to remain vacant in various defence academies of India - IMA Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala Kerala and Air Force Academy Hyderabad - due to lack of desired qualities in the youth seeking career through CDS exam.
No dearth of patriotism, no dearth of toppers, no dearth of manpower, no dearth of youth seeking employment, but dearth of quality manpower suitable for selection in the armed forces of India.
It is high time to imbibe and inculcate desired qualities in the youth, so that they can join the Armed forces of India.

Army Day is celebrated on 15 January every year in India, in recognition of Field Marshal Kodandera M. Cariappa's (then a Lieutenant General) taking over as the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army from General Sir Francis Butcher, the last British Commander-in-Chief of India, on 15 January 1949.

On this day, 47 years ago, 93,000 Pakistani troops raised white flags and surrendered to the Indian Army.
16 Dec (Vijay Diwas) every year is an important date for India and the Indian people. It symbolizes success, patriotism and commitment. It also acts as a reminder that we have achieved much as a nation and need to remain united and positive for the future while working to take India to its destined position in the world.

Since 1949, 7th December is observed as the Armed Forces Flag Day throughout the country to honour the martyrs and the men in uniform who valiantly fought on borders to safeguard the country's honour. This day gives us opportunity to contribute to ‘Armed Forces Flag Day Fund’. This fund is used for the welfare of the families of the martyrs and disabled soldiers.
