24th Dec 2017 one day Alumni Meet at Nagpur, India

The Platinum Jubliee (PtJ) celebration will take place at Nagpur LIT campus from Dec 23rd 2016 to Dec 25th 2016. All LIT alumnis are ecnouraged to sign up for the PtJ event

13 Jan every year, happens to be birth celebrations of D.Laxminarayana, this year I attended the post lunch session at Gurunanak hall . Also an AGM of LITOSA (m being a co opted member of it) was held for an hour or so.

Many issues were discussed, about LITOSA: (few to mention)

Members under litosa as in year 2013 are only 500+, which has to hit 5000 appr (till the global meet)

After many discussions and suggestions , it was decided that new alumni asscn with new name (supposedly LITAAS) will be formed , as registered asscn soon.

LIT Global meet will be held in last week of Dec 2013 or Ist week of Jan 2014( dates will be finalized in the next meeting soon, for 2-3 days). All those who can make it, can start planning ))))))))

Rank holders from final year chemical engng were honoured and some cash prizes were distributed, in some names, in some persons memory, or even from few individual faculty, so a thought struck me, that some money left out from our reunion account , we can make an FD of it , and the yearly interest on it can be distributed amongst rank one and two, as “cash prize from LIT 85 batch “, of course if everyone agrees for it….
