Installation of Hislop Commerce Society 2022-23

Department of Commerce, Hislop College organized the Inauguration and Installation Ceremony of the Hislop Commerce Society (A student body). Dr. Amishi Arora, Director of Central Institute of Business Management, Research and Development (CIBMRD), Nagpur was the Chief Guest of the program who installed the body for the session 2022-23. She encouraged and motivated students for their bright future. Shivansh Gavnekar was elected as the President, Saad Umair & Lishika Kukreja as Vice- President while Kundan Raut was elected as the Secretary of Commerce Society. Vice-Principal Dr. Ajay Yoel congratulated the newly-elected team. Dr. Hariom Punyani, Head Department of Commerce addressed the gathering. Dr. Sonal Agrawal Convenor of Commerce Society in her opening remarks briefed the students about activities of the Commerce Society. Faculty members of Commerce Departments Dr. Harinder Kour, Dr. Razeka Khan, Dr. Dini Menon, Dr. Rashmi Marpakwar and others took efforts for the success of this event.

Commerce Department of Hislop College organized the election for Hislop Commerce Society on 19th September, 2022. Elections were conducted for B.Com. 1st year, 2nd year and final year students.

Shivansh Gavnekar was elected as the President, Kundan Raut as Secretary, Khushi Kanojiya as Treasurer, Vinit Pandey as Joint Treasurer, Saad Umair & Lishika Kukreja as Vice President, Arman Singh as Joint secretary, Ekta Malik, Kundan Raut, Preet Shirpurkar & Ritu Rathod as Co-curricular, Discipline, Cultural & Media Directors respectively. Arya Ballamwar, Rishi Angalwar, Aditya Jijotia, Aadarsh Tiwari, Aman Pandey as the Executive Body Members of Commerce Society.

“Buzzer King” Quiz Competition on commerce & other contemporary topics organized by Department of Commerce. 22 teams participated.
