The University has been setup with the core focus on hands-on and pragmatic training delivered at the doorstep of the farmer. The farmer of Vidarbha (and India) is more in need os such training than the Degree Courses which does not help the farmer to improve his yield and thereby his financial condition. This approach is the only core approach that would ensure development of the farmer and thereby decreasing chances of financial crisis on the farmer.
