Institute of Management Technology Nagpur, hosted a 5-day residential Management Development Programme for senior officials of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), from September 7, 2026 to September 11, 2026. The initiative brought together professionals for a focused learning experience aimed at enhancing leadership capabilities, managerial effectiveness, and organisational performance in a dynamic business environment.

The programme featured a blend of classroom learning, group exercises, simulations, and collaborative problem-solving, enabling participants to engage with contemporary management practices. Key areas included leadership and people management, self-awareness, change management, design thinking, AI for workplace productivity, and performance improvement. IMT Nagpur extends its appreciation to WCL’s leadership and Learning & Development team, along with the faculty and experts, for their valuable support in making the programme a meaningful learning experience.

Institute of Management Technology Nagpur, hosted Ms Nikita Raut, DGM - Sustainability, ESG & Ethics at Bank of Baroda, for a Corporate Interaction Session organised by the Institution Industry Partnership Cell (IIPC). With a career spanning People & Culture, Sustainability, ESG and Ethics, Ms Raut brought a distinctive perspective shaped by her professional experience and leadership journey.

A National Award recipient and a strong advocate for inclusion and accessibility, she shared practical insights on navigating professional challenges, responsible leadership and the importance of creating inclusive workplaces. The interaction gave student managers an opportunity to learn from her experiences and perspectives.

Institute of Management Technology Nagpur, came alive with M34, an intra-college fest organised by the Milestone Committee, transforming the campus into a space filled with colours, enthusiasm, and euphoric energy .Six teams actively participated in various games and competitions organised by clubs, committees, and forums, showcasing their teamwork, creativity, and competitive spirit .The fest concluded with the announcement of the winning teams with Team Tandav emerging as the winner, Team Narsimha securing the runner-up position and Team Prahaar taking the third position marking a memorable conclusion to the M34 celebrations.

Student managers participated with great enthusiasm, as the campus came alive with vibrant colours, cultural celebrations, soulful aarti, devotional chants and a spirit of togetherness throughout the festival.

Institute of Management Technology Nagpur, continued the M34 celebrations with the Milestone Committee presenting a vibrant showcase of creativity, talent and expression. The second part of the intra-college fest featured the Fashion Show, along with vibrant events by Zimfonia, Hypnotics and Rangmanch, offering a varied line-up of performances that brought style, music, entertainment and theatre to the campus. Each event added to the energy of the fest while highlighting the diverse talents of the participating teams.

The celebrations concluded with the announcement of the winners, with Team Tandav securing the winning position, followed by Team Narsimha as the runner-up and Team Prahaar in third place. Their performances marked a memorable conclusion to the M34 festivities.

Institute of Management Technology Nagpur, marked the commencement of M34, the much-awaited intra-college fest organised by the Milestone Committee. The fest opened with an Ice Breaker, followed by the Promotional Run and Opening Ceremony led by Ms Amarjeet Kaur, setting the tone for the days ahead. The opening concluded with a spirited team war cry, bringing teams together in anticipation of the events ahead.

M34 then unfolded with an engaging mix of games and activities organised by the institute’s non-core committees, forums and clubs, including Sports Committee, Literati, Marque, CSGD, Okonomos, Analytix, Inshades, Utthaan - The CSR Committee, Cyclops, Xplohre, UVA, Finaholics, Envision, Imprint and Gym Committee. Each activity added to the fest’s lively atmosphere, encouraging participation, teamwork and friendly competition across the campus.

The Institute of Management Technology Nagpur, honored its visionary founder, the late Shri Mahendra Nath, on its Memorial Day. The memorial ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr Arvind Kumar, centre head at Tata consultancy services.

The Institute presented the Shri Mahendra Nath Memorial Scholarship to 4 deserving student managers on a merit-cum-means basis. Furthermore, 19 area-wise toppers and 6 specialisation-wise toppers were recognised for their exceptional academic achievements.
