St. Xavier’s High School, Hiwri Nagar, Nagpur has added another feather to its cap! πŸ–ŒοΈβœ¨

We are proud to share that 72 students of our school participated and excelled in the Rangotsav International Art Competition 2025-26 organized by Rangotsav Celebration, Mumbai.

Adding to the glory, our students bagged 1st Prize, 2nd Prizes, 4th Prize, Eccentric Performer Awards and Art Maestro Trophies, showcasing their creativity, imagination, and love for colors on an international platform! 🌍

This success reflects the hard work of our students and the guidance of our dedicated Art Teachers *Mrs. Manisha Tabular*and Mrs. Kumudini Moundekar for their constant encouragement.

International Dance Day

"Dance is the hidden language of the soul."

St. Xavier's High School, Hiwri Branch, Nagpur celebrated International Dance Day on 29th April 2024 with great joy and enthusiasm. The theme for this competition was "Happiness,” highlighting the joy and positivity that dance brings into our lives.
On this special occasion, students from the Primary Section (Classes I to V) participated enthusiastically in a dance competition organized by the school. The young performers showcased their talent with confidence and energy, spreading smiles all around.
Students presented a variety of dance forms including Classical, Folk, and Freestyle, beautifully expressing the theme of happiness through their performances. Their vibrant expressions and lively movements created a cheerful atmosphere.

The competition was judged by our dance teachers, Nanda Miss and Kennedy Sir, who appreciated the efforts and creativity of the students.
Our respected HM Miss and Section Head felicitated the students with achievement certificates, encouraging them to continue nurturing their talents.

St. Xavier's High School, Hiwri Nagar, Nagpur celebrated World Earth Day on April 22, 2026 with great enthusiasm to share a strong message of environmental responsibility. The program began on a peaceful and spiritual note with a morning prayer, followed by a scripture reading that highlighted the importance of caring for nature and living in harmony with the Earth.

A special prayer was offered for the protection and preservation of our planet. The atmosphere became even more uplifting with prayer songs, creating a sense of unity and awareness among all present.

The event formally commenced with a warm welcome speech, where the audience, including parents and guests, was greeted. This was followed by a melodious welcome song, setting a positive tone for the celebration.

The chief guests, Mrs. Ekta Bhaiya and Dr. Rachana Gangwani Mahajan were introduced with respect and admiration, followed by their felicitation as a token of gratitude. Students from Grade 1 to 11 actively participated in the celebration, showcasing their creativity and awareness through various activities.

A special segment highlighted the importance of Earth Day, emphasizing the need for sustainable practices, conservation of resources, and protection of the environment for future generations.

The much-awaited Xavier’s Award was presented to deserving students for their contributions and efforts.

The chief guest, Mrs. Ekta Bhaiya inspired everyone with meaningful insights on environmental protection. On behalf of hon'ble Chairman Sir and Managing Director Madam, the Administrator, Dr. Nish*t Vijayan congratulated the Xavier's Prince, Princess and other awardees for their achievements. This was followed by Principal’s Address, who appreciated the achievers and reinforced the importance of collective responsibility towards nature and urged them to adopt eco-friendly habits in daily life.
At the conclusion of the program, a tree plantation was carried out by the Chief Guests, along with Xavier's prince and princess in alignment with chairman sir's vision of 'Each one plant one'.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, teachers, and students for making the event successful.

The celebration ended on a patriotic note with the closing chorus, School Anthem, followed by the National Anthem, marking the end of a meaningful and impactful event.

🌍 World Earth Day Celebration 🌸

Our Montessori kids joyfully celebrated World Earth Day by creating beautiful flowers with the help of fork printing activity. This fun and creative activity helped children learn about nature, colours, and the importance of caring for our Earth.

On the occasion of World Art Day, our little learners enjoyed a fun and creative Thumb Printing Activity using different colours. The children explored their imagination by making beautiful patterns and pictures with their thumb impressions. This activity helped in enhancing their fine motor skills, creativity, and colour recognition. It was a joyful learning experience where every child expressed themselves through art in a unique way. 🎨
