KDM Girls College

Gradually the higher units such as Secondary and Higher Secondary schools were started. After a gap of few years there was a great demand for the facility of higher education for the girls from the residents of eastern part of Nagpur. In response to the demand of higher education for the girls, the society made concrete efforts and started Senior and Junior college only for girls in the year 1998-99. The college started with the generous donation offered by, "Nav Bharat Charitable Trust", to commemorate the memory of Smt. Kaushalyadevi Maheshwari, for her role played in upliftment of women of Rajasthani community. Arts faculty was started in the college during 1998-99 session where as commerce faculty commenced from 2000-01 session. Professional courses such as B.B.A, B.C.C.A., B.COM (IT) and Fashion designing were started from 2006-07 session. The society is looking forward to make this college a very well equipped educational centre of high standing exclusily for girls.
