The world is really small, and full of sweet surprises.
It was a privilege to meet one of the professors I admired much during my University, Professor Imran Saleem, at Jeddah airport. We shared a lot of thoughts including academic development as well as sweet memories of AMU.
It's really a treat to unexpectedly meet your former university professor after a long while.

I am excited to communicate the publication of our latest research paper titled "Creating Purchase Intention through Social Media: The use of AR enabled Social Media Filters" in the prestigious Journal of Content Community & Communication (Scopus Q2)
In this study, we delved into the captivating world of social media as a marketing communication channel and explored the powerful role of augmented reality (AR) enabled filters in shaping consumer purchase intention.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my co-author, Dr Arif Abad, for their invaluable contributions and dedication throughout the research process. It was truly a pleasure collaborating with them on this insightful project, and I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together!

Procrastination is a thief of time and productivity. It's easy to fall into the trap of delaying important tasks, but the longer we put them off, the more overwhelming they become.
Instead of waiting for the 'perfect' moment, take action now and break down big tasks into smaller, manageable steps. Set specific goals and deadlines, and hold yourself accountable. Remember, progress is better than perfection. Let's make the most of our time and accomplish our goals!

FIFA this year is not only being full of surprises but also full of management lessons.
1. Less popular/Newer teams beating legacy teams including defending champions.
(Start ups, SMEs can be competitive to established brands, huge conglomerates. Learning, Innovating and Executing is the key)
2. Star players with number of accolades and years of experience numbered down by younger/new/under-rated players.
(Performance comes with skills and beneficial experience not just medals and years of experience)
3. Performance overrides name.
(Branding works but not more than performance and quality)
4. A team manager or coach with credible track record isn't enough, teams with less popular coach and manager are also doing well.
(Not just the accolades of manager but the performance of employees take organization ahead)
Overall it's excellence not merely experience that counts.

We always emphasize "Thinking out of the box", especially in marketing, so why not "MOVE out of the box".
With these thoughts and need of the topic, I conducted an outdoor experiential learning session with MBA 3rd Sem Marketing students. It proved to be a thought provoking activity for not only students but also for me.
