Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing between Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur and Production Modeling India Pvt. Ltd.
Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur, is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Production Modeling India Pvt. Ltd. (PMI) on 30th October 2025.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Milind Khanapurkar, Principal, Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur, and Mr. Yogesh Deshpande, representing Production Modeling India Pvt. Ltd.
This collaboration aims to strengthen the industry–academia partnership and provide enriched learning, research, and professional development opportunities for students and faculty members. The association will focus on promoting knowledge exchange and practical exposure in areas such as manufacturing systems, production optimization, digital transformation, and data analytics.
Key objectives of this MoU include:
Facilitating industrial training, internships, and live projects for students.
Organizing expert lectures, workshops, and technical seminars by industry professionals.
Encouraging joint research and consultancy initiatives between PMI and the college.
Enriching the academic curriculum through industry-aligned insights and applications.
A special appreciation is extended to the Material Advantage Student Chapter, affiliated with ASM International, for their proactive efforts and coordination in facilitating this collaboration. Their initiative and dedication played a crucial role in making this MoU a success.
