The Department of Political Science and Career Katta, Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur, jointly organised an Elocution Competition on the theme “Indian Democracy and Fundamental Rights” on 23 September 2026 at the Auditorium Hall.
The programme was graced by Mr. Arun Sahare, who served as the Chief Guest and Judge. Vice Principal Dr. Ninad Kashikar was also present on the occasion.
The event received the support and guidance of Dr. S. D. Deshbhratar, Career Katta Coordinator; Dr. Gopal Chavhan; Mr. Temdeo Bansod; Mr. Jitendra Shinde; Mrs. Nagma Khan; Mrs. Smita Mohitkar; and Mrs. Pradnya Telang.
The competition provided students with a meaningful platform to express their views on Indian democracy, constitutional values and Fundamental Rights. Through their speeches, students reflected on the significance of democratic principles and constitutional rights while demonstrating their knowledge, confidence and public-speaking abilities.
The activity encouraged students to engage with important constitutional and democratic values and helped strengthen their communication and presentation skills. The programme concluded on a positive note, with appreciation for the enthusiastic participation of the students.
