🌱 Growing a Greener Future | Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam

As part of the Government of India’s “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, the National Academy of Defence Production (NADP), Nagpur, organised a Tree Plantation Drive on 21 September 2026.

Around 300 saplings were planted during the initiative, reaffirming NADP’s commitment to environmental sustainability and the creation of a greener and healthier future.

Officers, staff and PGDM students participated with great enthusiasm, coming together to contribute towards this meaningful environmental initiative.

The plantation drive reflects our collective responsibility towards protecting nature and highlights NADP’s continued commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.

Every sapling planted today is a step towards a greener tomorrow. 🌱

शब्दों के जादू और भावों के संगम से सजी एक अविस्मरणीय काव्य संध्या! ✨🎭

हिंदी पखवाड़ा 2026 के अवसर पर राष्ट्रीय रक्षा उत्पादन अकादमी (NADP), नागपुर द्वारा आयोजित भव्य ‘हिंदी कवि सम्मेलन’ 19 सितंबर 2026 को सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ।

इस काव्यात्मक संध्या में संस्थान के प्रधान निदेशक श्री राजेंद्र कुमार जी, श्री विजयकुमार अय्यर, निदेशक/ऑपरेशन्स एवं CMD/YIL मुख्यालय के अतिरिक्त प्रभार, श्री संतोष कुमार सिंह, निदेशक/HR, YIL मुख्यालय सहित अन्य वरिष्ठ अतिथियों एवं संकाय सदस्यों की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही।

कार्यक्रम का मंच संचालन सूत्रधार श्री राम वृक्ष गुप्ता ‘एहसास’ जी ने किया। आमंत्रित प्रतिष्ठित कवियों श्री निशीथ द्विवेदी, महाप्रबंधक, AFK, पुणे; श्री तरुण सागर, संयुक्त महाप्रबंधक, OFAJ, नागपुर; श्री प्रमोद ‘पारखी’; श्री मुकेश शांडिल्य ‘चिराग’; श्री संजय ‘अश्क’; एवं सुश्री मंजूश्री ‘पुष्प’ ने अपनी ओजस्वी, हास्य एवं श्रृंगार रस से परिपूर्ण रचनाओं से श्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया।

कविता, हास्य, भावनाओं और साहित्यिक अभिव्यक्तियों से सजी इस संध्या ने हिंदी भाषा और साहित्य के प्रति प्रेम एवं सम्मान को और अधिक सुदृढ़ किया।

NADP का यह आयोजन हिंदी भाषा की समृद्ध साहित्यिक परंपरा को प्रोत्साहित करने तथा हिंदी के प्रति रचनात्मक जुड़ाव को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में एक सुंदर पहल रहा।

Empowering Future Professionals Through Management Education

As part of the Outreach Programme of the National Academy of Defence Production (NADP), Nagpur, Shri Girisha Kumar Pal, Joint Director, and Dr. Surendra V. Gole, Professor, NADP, conducted an insightful seminar on “Management Education” at Bajaj Institute of Technology, Wardha, on 11 September 2026.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, reflecting their keen interest in understanding the opportunities, challenges and evolving dynamics of management education in today’s competitive professional landscape.

The interactive discussions provided valuable perspectives on career pathways, leadership development and the importance of continuous learning in building successful and future-ready professionals.

Through such outreach initiatives, NADP continues to engage with educational institutions and empower young minds through knowledge sharing, skill development and capacity-building activities, while fostering stronger connections between academia and industry.

Empowering Future Professionals Through Industry Insight and Excellence

On 16 September 2026, the National Academy of Defence Production (NADP), Nagpur, organised a seminar on “Employability Enhancement” for Engineering and Management students from colleges across Nagpur.

The programme commenced with an address by Shri Rajender Kumar, Principal Director, NADP, who welcomed the participants and shared insights into NADP’s role and mission in strengthening India’s defence ecosystem.

Shri Mishminder Sharma, Executive Director, delivered the keynote address on the Defence Production Sector, highlighting emerging opportunities, industry requirements and the competencies expected from future professionals.

Dr. Surendra V. Gole, Professor, NADP, conducted an engaging session on Human Excellence, focusing on personal and professional development and the qualities essential for long-term career success.

Adding a unique perspective, Air Vice Marshal P. S. Karkare delivered a special expert session on the Indian Air Force and its key strengths, offering students valuable exposure to the defence sector.

Dr. Indu Majumdar, Training & Placement Coordinator, further enriched the programme with sectoral insights and a technical video presentation on defence production.

The programme concluded with visits to NADP’s Philately Gallery and Technical Exhibit Centre, giving participants an opportunity to explore India’s defence manufacturing heritage and technological capabilities.

The seminar served as a meaningful platform for students to connect academic learning with industry expectations, gain first-hand exposure to the defence ecosystem and develop a broader perspective towards career opportunities in strategic sectors.

NADP continues to strengthen student outreach and industry-academia engagement by creating opportunities for young professionals to learn, connect and prepare for the evolving world of work.

The session witnessed an overwhelming response from approximately 750 students, reflecting their keen interest in understanding the opportunities, challenges, and evolving landscape of management education. Dr. Gole's engaging interaction and practical insights inspired students to explore the importance of leadership, strategic thinking, and lifelong learning in shaping successful careers.

🌟 Strengthening Healthcare, Serving the Community

As part of its continued Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the National Academy of Defence Production (NADP), Nagpur, undertook a meaningful healthcare support initiative at Dhanvantari Hospital, Kenzer, Nagpur, on 9 September 2026.

As part of the initiative, NADP donated essential medical equipment to support the hospital in enhancing patient care and improving access to critical healthcare facilities.

The contribution included:

• Automatic Beds
• Fowler & Semi-Fowler Beds
• Oxygen Cylinders
• Oxygen Concentrator Machines
• And other essential medical aids for patients

Through this initiative, NADP reaffirms its commitment to community welfare and supporting essential healthcare services in and around Nagpur.

With continued efforts towards meaningful social impact, NADP remains committed to contributing to the well-being of communities and strengthening the support systems that serve those in need.
