With the blessings of Supreme Lord Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan and the blessings of PP Shree Muktvallabhdasji Swamiji,
In the auspicious morning assembly, _Swapnil Sir narrated the “katha” of Devshayani ekadashi and explained the significance of chaturmaas and importance of ekadashi to all the students._
Dev Shayani Ekadashi, also known as Ashadi Ekadashi, is a significant Hindu festival observed on the eleventh day (Ekadashi) of the waxing moon (Shukla Paksha) in the Hindu month of Ashadha. It marks the beginning of the Chaturmas period, during which Lord Vishnu is believed to go into a state of deep slumber (Shayana) for four months. Devotees observe fasts, perform puja (worship), and recite prayers on this day to seek blessings and protection. It is considered highly auspicious for spiritual practices and seeking divine grace.
