The Gift of Divinity: Cloth Donation Drive 👕💚

The Student Relations Cell (SRC) – Community Outreach, Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur, in collaboration with Avabodh Foundation, Nagpur, organised “The Gift of Divinity”, a meaningful Cloth Donation Drive promoting compassion, sharing, and social responsibility.

The initiative brought the SIT community together to donate clean and usable clothes, blankets, shawls, and winter wear, turning simple contributions into comfort and dignity for those in need. 🤝✨

The drive was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Ramdas Khomane, Faculty Coordinator, with Shubh Kamle as Student Coordinator.

The International Cell, Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur, successfully conducted an Interactive Session with Deakin Dual Degree Students, providing aspiring global learners with valuable insights into international education pathways, scholarships, and overseas academic opportunities.

The session featured engaging discussions on Deakin University’s Dual Degree Programmes, scholarship opportunities, international academic collaborations, and the advantages of pursuing a global educational experience. Students had the opportunity to interact directly, seek guidance, and gain clarity on the academic and career prospects available through international programmes.

The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to broaden their perspectives, explore global learning opportunities, and make informed decisions regarding their future academic journeys.

🌼 Celebrating the Spirit of Janmashtami at SIT Nagpur! 🦚✨

The SRC – Arts and Cultural Club, Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur, brought the campus alive with devotion, culture, and festive enthusiasm through the Janmashtami Celebration 2026.

Students, faculty members, and supporting staff came together to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna, embracing the values of joy, unity, wisdom, and togetherness. The celebration featured vibrant traditional attire, cultural performances, devotional activities, festive interactions, and the much-awaited Dahi Handi activity, creating an atmosphere filled with energy and cultural pride.

The event provided a platform for the SIT community to connect with India's rich cultural heritage while fostering participation, creativity, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for traditional values.

SIT Nagpur hosted the Research Hackathon 2026, organised by the Research Cell, bringing together students to explore innovative, software-driven solutions to real-world challenges in hospital digital transformation and healthcare automation. The hackathon encouraged students to move beyond conventional learning and apply their technical and research skills to meaningful healthcare problems.

With a focus on requirement analysis, research, solution design, software development, testing, validation, and prototype development, the event provided students with an opportunity to collaborate across disciplines and transform problem statements into practical technology solutions. The initiative also fostered research-oriented thinking, teamwork, innovation, and hands-on learning with potential societal impact.

Symbiosis Nagpur Campus hosted an insightful SymbiCare session, bringing together health, emotional well-being, sports, and student welfare to promote a holistic approach to student wellness.

Through an online address, Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar, Provost, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), guided and encouraged students towards prioritising physical health, emotional well-being, fitness, and a balanced lifestyle.
