When 'experts' make 'rules' about what parents should and should't do with their babies, they are frequently not based on reality! Feeding to sleep is entirely natural, thats why human milk contains sleepy hormones like melatonin when the feeding parent's blood contains these hormones.

Milk helps babies to feel sleepy and that's a great thing!

'World Human Donation Day!'

Human Milk is a precious fluid that is also counted as "Liquid Gold" because of its magical composition.
It contains all sources of energy, calories, proteins, minerals, vitamins, and above all the most incredible biological component "immunity factors" which makes the Mothers milk irreplaceable by any other substitute.
It is a complete food for a newborn under 6 months and is the lifeline of every baby who is born to thrive.
In the testing times of the Covid Pandemic when we lost many new mothers unfortunate to the disease, there came many breastfeeding mothers from the community to help those unfortunate babies thrive on their "donated human milk".

The concept of celebrating World Day of Human Milk Donation originated in Brazil in the year 2004 and since then it is celebrated every year worldwide on the 19th of May.

India is becoming proactive in supporting breastfeeding practices and is promoting Human Milk Donation to the milk banks which are working hard to provide milk to all the newborns who are deprived of their mother's own milk due to any challenging circumstances.
