At Musafir Cafe on Netflix, I found myself not just watching a story—but reflecting on one. ☕
As a psychiatrist, I often tell people that moving on isn’t a single decision—it’s a process. It’s sitting with discomfort, acknowledging what was lost, and slowly rebuilding a sense of self beyond it.
This place, this moment, felt like a gentle reminder: healing doesn’t mean forgetting. It means integrating the experience, learning from it, and allowing yourself to grow around the pain rather than be defined by it.
Sometimes, moving on is quiet.
It’s choosing peace over rumination, acceptance over resistance, and self-compassion over self-blame.
And maybe that’s what being a “musafir” really is—
not just traveling through places, but through versions of yourself. 🌿
