With thousands of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 students demanding the postponement of NEET-UG 2021 exams, the National Testing Agency on Friday confirmed that NEET will not be postponed, and will be held as scheduled on Sunday (September 12).

CBSE Class 12 Board exam scrapped for this year.
This Decision has been taken after Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired an important meeting regarding the conducting of examinations for Class 12 on June 1.
In view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID and the feed-back obtained from various stakeholders, it was decided that the Class XII Board Exams would not be held this year.

National Testing Agency, NTA has postponed JEE Main Exam 2021 for May session. The Joint Entrance Examination has been postponed keeping the safety of students amid rise in COVID19 cases across the country. The May session exam was scheduled to be conducted on May 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28, 2021.
As per the official notice, the registration for the May session will be announced at a later stage and also the rescheduling of the April and May session will be done subsequently.
Education Minister has shared a tweet in this regard. The tweet reads, 'Looking at the present situation of COVID-19 and keeping students safety in mind, JEE (Main) - May 2021 session has been postponed . Students are advised to keep visiting the official website of NTA for further updates.'

CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the policy for tabulation of marks for CBSE class 10 board exams which have been cancelled because of the rising COVID-19 cases.
According to the release issued by the CBSE, the students will be assessed out of a maximum of 100 marks for each subject. As per the policy of the Board, 20 marks are for Internal Assessment and 80 marks are for year-end Board examinations.
The schools will conduct the assessment of students by forming a result committee consisting of the Principal and seven teachers for finalizing the result.

How to register at cowin.gov.in and app: Check step-by-step guide
1) Log on to cowin.gov.in and enter your mobile number
2) Then an OTP will be sent to your mobile number via an SMS
3) After this,enter the OTP and click on the “verify” button
4) Once the OTP is validated, the “Registration of Vaccination” page will open up
5) Enter details required in the “Registration of Vaccination” page such as your photo ID proof. You will also be asked if you have any comorbidities. This can be answered by clicking on ‘yes’ or ‘no’
6) Once the details are entered for registration, click “Register” button at the bottom right
7) After this, you will receive a confirmation message on successful registration. Once registration is done, you will be shown the “Account Details”.
In the past one week, several states including Kerala, Assam, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh announced free vaccination for all people above the age of 18.

Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) continues to affect Indians as people cope with news of increasing deaths and rising numbers of infections in large parts of the nation. Major cities in India reel from crumbling hospital infrastructure as lack of medical oxygen and hospital beds drive families of those infected to despair. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held two review meetings with chief ministers of states which have been adversely affected in the second wave. He also held another virtual meeting with leading oxygen manufacturers to address the oxygen shortage in several cities.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the UGC NET December 2020 exam which was scheduled to be held from May 2 to May 17 due to the rising cases of COVID-19. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held in December 2020 and has been postponed multiple times since then because of the pandemic.
'Looking at the present situation of COVID-19 pandemic and taking into account safety and well-being of candidates and examination functionaries, it has been decided to postpone the UGC NET 2020 cycle (May 2021) examination,' the National Testing Agency (NTA) said in an official notice.
The revised dates for UGC NET 2021 are not yet announced.

The central government on Wednesday announced cancellation of CBSE board exams for Class 10 and postponed Class 12 exams which were scheduled for May-June in the wake of Coronavirus crisis, officials said.
The revised dates will be announced after June 1, officials said.
The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the wake of rising cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19). The meeting was attended by Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank', education secretary and other officials.
The exams were originally scheduled for May and June.
Many chief ministers had written to PM Modi seeking postponement of the Class 10 and 12 board exams in the wake of rising number of Covid-19 cases. The letter request came from Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
