🏗️ Department of Civil Engineering, Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology Nagpur, successfully organized a *Site Visit* under ARTEX forum in coordination with ICI, IEI & ISTE Student Chapters at *construction site* of _*"MAHALAXMI INFRA PROJECTS PVT. LTD., New Manish nagar.”*_📍

👨‍🎓👩‍🎓 A total of *55 students* from *5th & 7th semester Civil Engineering* took advantage of this informative and practical visit.

👷‍♂️ Executive Engineer *Er. Rajesh Bondre* & the technical staff of *MAHALAXMI INFRA PROJECTS PVT. LTD. New Manish Nagar, Nagpur* gave an in-depth overview of their site. They demonstrated various types of foundations, specially Raft Foundation.

🌉 *Technical details were given about:*
1. Basement construction
2. Design of Retaining Wall construction
3. Column and beam casting
4. Slope of Ramp
5. Reinforcement, shuttering & concreting quality
6. Main & Distribution Bar Spacing
7. Importance of Concrete Cover

🏗️ This visit provided *practical exposure* to the concepts of Structural engg., Pavement Design, Building Construction Practices and Foundation engg., enhancings students’ *real-time understanding of construction processes and site work coordination.*

🚧 *Outcomes of Site Visit:*
▪️Practical exposure to foundation construction techniques
▪️Better correlation between theory and field practices
▪️Awareness of safety measures at large construction sites
▪️ Knowledge of modern machinery and construction technology
▪️ Improved confidence in understanding real engineering projects.

The Department of Civil Engineering (NBA Accredited) of Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur has successfully organized an Expert Lecture on "Structural Analysis and Seismic Response of Structures" for B.Tech 4th, 6th and 8th Semester Civil Engineering students.

✨ The Expert Lecture focused on the following key points:
