Sir Issac Newton Arts & Science College, Department of Geology, Mathamatics & Physics students visited at Tharangambadi fort under the Geotourism activity on 03.10.2024. This is the second largest Danish fort in world, it is located Mayiladuthurai District of Tamil Nadu. During this occasion students learned about ABC information that means, Abiotic (Non Living), Biotic (Living Organism) & Culture of Tharangambadi. During the new moon days the sun, moon and Earth are in the same line and the tides are at their highest level and wave sound maybe different like singing waves. Students noted Danish fort, museum and few buildings with Danish architecture. Inside the museum as it explains the history of Danes in India as well as the fort. They are saw pure drinking water (well) nearby coast but saline water only available most of the coastal area.
The first Danish trading port established in 1620 as well as setup the very first Tamil Press in India at Transquebar . In the 14 th century inscription named as "Sandanganpade". We are thanks to our institution and give the opportunity to know the old Trading port.

நாகப்பட்டினம், சர் ஐசக் நியூட்டன் கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லூரியில் உள்ள நிலத்தியல் (Geology) துறையில் பயிலும் முதலாம் ஆண்டு மாணவன் செல்வன் பா. ஆல்வின் மனோஜ், நெகிழி பைகளை கொண்டு எரிபொருள் மற்றும் எரிவாயு தயாரித்தலுக்கான செய்முறையினை செய்து அதன் விளக்கத்தினை கல்லூரி முதல்வர் மற்றும் நிர்வாக அலுவலர் அவர்களிடம் கூறினான். மாணவனின் செயல்திறனை பாராட்டி மென்மேலும் திறம்பட செயல்பட வாழ்த்துக்களை தெரிவித்தனர்.

Sir Issac Newton Arts and Science College in collaboration with The Tourism Department, Nagapattinam jointly organised International Coastal Cleanup Day 2024 (ICCD) on 21.09.2024 at Velankanni Beach. On this occasion, Sir Issac Newton Arts and Science College students distributed awareness notices to the public and tourists for the purpose of cleaning the beach. NSS Students from various departments of Sir Issac Newton Arts and Science College, officers from the Tourism Department of Nagai district participated in this event and cleaned the beach area.
