The NSS Cell of Nagaon University, in association with My Bharat Kendra Nagaon, proudly organized the District Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2026, bringing together dynamic young minds to engage in meaningful democratic dialogue. The central theme, “50 Years of Emergency – Lessons for Indian Democracy,” encouraged participants to reflect on one of the most significant chapters in the political history of India and to critically analyze its impact on constitutional values, fundamental rights, and democratic institutions. The event served as a powerful platform for youth to express their views, strengthen their leadership qualities, and understand the importance of safeguarding democracy. Through thoughtful debates, insightful discussions, and active participation, the program reinforced the responsibility of young citizens in shaping a stronger, more inclusive, and progressive nation under the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Today at Nagaon University, the NSS volunteers organized a powerful and thought-provoking street play under the theme “Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat” with the objective of spreading awareness and raising collective voices against the social evil of child marriage.

NSS Nagaon University remains committed to nation-building by addressing critical social issues and encouraging youth participation for positive social change. Let us all stand together to say NO to child marriage and work towards a Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat.
