Today, the Central Library of the college organized a hands-on training program on the One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) initiative. Individual user IDs and passwords were also created for every student who attended the program."

World Environment Day was celebrated in the Department of Biological Sciences in Collaboration with IQAC, Kaliabor College (Autonomous). Sorpo bandhu Sanjib Deka was the chief guest of the occasion. It was a thought provoking programme. Participants come to know many important points regarding snake bite and precautions.

The first Board of Studies meeting of the Department of Statistics was successfully held on 4th June, 2026.

As a pre-event of World Environment Day, the NSS Unit and NCC Unit of Kaliabor College (Autonomous), in collaboration with ARANYAK and the authorities of Kaziranga National Park, organized a plastic collection drive at the Burhapahar Animal Corridor under the Burhapahar Range.
A total of 25 students, including 15 NSS volunteers and 10 NCC cadets, participated in the programme. Following the drive, forest officials interacted with the students encouraging their active role in protecting nature.

The first BOS meeting of the department of economics was held today successfully under the chairmanship of Mr. Debicharan Goswami.

The four cadets of the Kaliabor College (A) NCC Unit have been selected for appointment in the Indian Armed Forces and are proceeding for their training. As a mark of appreciation and encouragement, a small token of felicitation was presented to them before they departed from the college@30 May 2026. Jai Hind.

The Board of Studies(BOS) meeting of the Department of Political Science, Kaliabor College (Autonomous), was held on May 30, 2026, under the chairmanship of the Head of the Department of Political Science. Professor Jayanta Krishna Sarma from the Department of Political Science, Gauhati University, attended as the honourable Vice-Chancellor of Gauhati University nominee. Respected Dr. Dibyajyoti Dutta, Associate Professor and HOD from Dibrugarh University, and Dr. Dijamani Sarmah, Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Rabindranath Thakur Vishwavidyalaya, Hojai, attended as Subject Experts. Honourable Mr. Moni Madhab Mahanta, Social Activist from Kaliabor, attended as the representative from corporate sector and allied areas, and Mr. Swapan Hazarika, Subject Teacher at Kuthori Higher Secondary School, Kuthori, attended as the Alumni Member of the Board of Studies. Honorable faculty members Mr. Gopal Mili, Mr. Ankur Saikia, Mr. Lakhya Jyoti Borah, Mr. Ashim Jyoti Saikia, Ms. Dibisa Mahanta, and Mr. Champak Gogoi (Sociology) also attended the meeting. We thank everyone for their thought-provoking suggestions and academic expertise (from theory to practical utility in contemporary situations) to enrich our syllabus for the greater interest of our students. Special thanks to honourable Chiranjeev Bezbaruah sir for his all round of support both for preparation of syllabus to holding of BOS meeting.

In accordance with the occasion of World No To***co Day to be held on 31st May, 2026, an Oath taking ceremony was conducted today, i.e, 30th May, 2026 among the students of HS Commerce 1st year and 2nd year of Kaliabor College (Autonomous). The Oath was taken in both English and Assamese. The session was administered by Faculty members of the Commerce Department - Mr. Debajyoti Sarkar and Ms. Sibani Phukan.

The Department of Tourism, Kaliabor College (Autonomous) has successfully completed its first BOS Meeting.
