The programme aimed to create awareness about the harmful effects of to***co consumption and to encourage a to***co-free lifestyle. The session was informative and highlighted the importance of maintaining good health by avoiding to***co and spreading awareness in society.

On 21/04/2026,

A Defense Career Guidance Seminar was organized by ADP College in collaboration with Abhigyan Academy, Guwahati, to create awareness among students about career opportunities in the Indian Army and other defense sectors. The programme aimed to guide students towards disciplined and prestigious career paths in the service of the nation.

The seminar was conducted by Swapnaneel Sharma Mazumdar, who served as the resource person for the session. He provided detailed information about UPSC and various defense examinations, including eligibility criteria, exam schedule, and selection procedures. He explained the paper pattern, highlighting subjects such as General Knowledge, reasoning, and other important areas. He also spoke about career opportunities in the Armed Forces, including the Army, Navy, and Air Force, and guided students on how to prepare for these fields. In addition, he shared useful preparation strategies, study tips, and emphasized the importance of discipline, consistency, and physical fitness.

NSS volunteers, NCC, and Students of the college actively participated in the seminar with great interest. The interactive session allowed them to ask questions and clarify their doubts regarding exams and career options. The programme concluded successfully, inspiring and motivating students to consider defense services as a promising and honorable career choice.

A vote awareness campaign was organized to educatepeople about the importance of voting in a democratic country. The program aimed to encourage citizens to participate actively in elections and make informed decisions.
Students of ADP College, along with NSS volunteers, actively participated in the program.
The program received a positive response from the students. Many students showed interest and pledged to vote responsibly.

Cultural Programme & Conclusion:
The programme concluded with a vibrant Cultural Programme. Students presented patriotic songs, dances, and recitations, reflecting love and respect for the nation. The entire programme was conducted successfully, achieving its objective of spreading awareness about “Vande Mataram” while promoting creativity, knowledge, and patriotism among students. The event left a lasting impression and reinforced the values of unity and national pride.

The programme of commemorating 150 years of “Vande Mataram,” an Essay Writing Competition was organized on the topic “Life of a Freedom Fighter” related to “Vande Mataram.”

Students of ADP College, along with NSS volunteers, actively participated in the competition. Participants expressed their ideas through essays highlighting the lives, struggles, and contributions of freedom fighters connected to the spirit of “Vande Mataram.”

Students of ADP college, along with NSS volunteers and NCC cadets actively participated in the competition. Participants showcased their artistic skills through creative posters reflecting themes of nationalism, unity, and love for the motherland.
