On 29th August 2025, our students had the privilege of attending an inspiring guest lecture on Organ Donation by Dr. Vinita Purohit from N.D. Desai Hospital, Nadiad.

Dr. Purohit highlighted:

โœ… Success stories of recipients leading healthy lives after surgery

On 22nd July 2025, the First Year GNM and B.Sc. Nursing students of Methodist School of Nursing, Nadiad visited Badhir Vidhyalaya, Nadiad as part of their academic and community exposure.

๐Ÿ”น Aim of the Visit:
To understand the educational, emotional, and social needs of children with hearing impairments and to enhance the students' knowledge and sensitivity in providing inclusive and holistic nursing care.

This enriching experience provided valuable insights into the communication techniques, daily challenges, and support strategies used for differently-abled children. It also helped the students develop empathy, understanding, and professional competence.

Bollywood Day Celebration at Methodist School of Nursing - 14/05/2025
As part of the lively Nurses Week Celebration 2025, the Methodist School of Nursing was alive with color, music, and glamour during our exciting Bollywood Day on 14th May 2025!

Students and faculty came dressed as their favorite Bollywood stars, bringing the magic of Indian cinema to life through energetic dance performances, music, and themed activities. The atmosphere was full of fun, laughter, and celebration of the vibrant spirit of nursing.

To add a sweet ending to the day, everyone enjoyed a refreshing treat of ice cream, making the celebration even more memorable!

DIY Activity & Signature Day
Methodist School of Nursing

Day 2 of Nurses Week was filled with creativity, fun, and unity! Our talented nursing students showcased their artistic side during the DIY Craft Activity, making beautiful nurse-themed crafts like badge holders, thank-you cards and mini caps.

The day continued with Signature Day, where students and faculty signed a special banner to express their pride, gratitude, and commitment to the noble profession of nursing. Each signature added a unique touch, reminding us of the strength we hold together as a community.

It was a joyful and inspiring day that brought everyone closer and highlighted the compassion, care, and creativity that define a nurse.
