આજના દિવ્ય ભાસ્કરે જે ભોજપત્ર પર લખ્યું એ તો સાચું પણ એક નાનકડી માહિતી બહુ ગર્વ સાથે ઉમેરીએ કે એ ભોજપત્રનું વૃક્ષ નડિયાદમાં અમારી-આપણી જે.એન્ડ જે. કોલેજ ઓફ સાયન્સના બોટનિકલ ગાર્ડનમાં છે અને આચાર્યશ્રી ડો. એ.એમ. પટેલ પોતે વનસ્પતિ શાસ્ત્રના નિષ્ણાત છે જેમના પ્રયત્નોને લીધે એક બહુમૂલ્ય બોટનિકલ ગાર્ડન અને આવા ખૂબ ગૌરવ પૂર્ણ વૃક્ષનું વર્ષ 1947 માં સ્થાપિત થયેલી આ કોલેજમાં જતન થઈ રહ્યું છે.
