Today on the eve of "WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY" our school namely Him Modern Sr Sec Public School( Boarding & Day school )Ponda March a rally of 4 km from school campus to B.Ed college Ponda to sensitize and to make mass awareness about conservation of environment. The term ‘environment’, in the literal sense, could simply mean surroundings. It has a lot of other connotations as well. It can mean nature, the natural world or ecosystem .House wise sub - junior, junior and senior quiz and Declamation contest were held... Principal of the school delivered a lecture on environment conservation and appealed all the students to conserve forest and avoid the use of plastic and other toxic materials,which can lead to degradation of environment.....On this ocassion Chairman , NIRMAL NEGI ,appreciated all the participants and extended greetings for securing First , second and third position.....

Today HMSSPS PONDA( BOARDING & DAY SCHOOL ) observed "NO TO***CO DAY". The theme for World No To***co Day 2024 is 'Protecting Children From To***co Industry Interference.' This year's theme aims to protect young people and urges the to***co industry to stop targeting the young population with products that are harmful to their health. On this day teaching ,non teaching and students organised a 4 km long awareness rally from school campus up to B.Ed college( sister unit) .On this ocassion Chairman,Sh Nirmal Negi, Secretary,Sh Yash Pal Negi,Sh Chint Ram MASOYI Principal ,of the school alongwith the Teaching Faculties flagged off the rally from school campus.Painting , declamation competition, race and different activities were organised to sensitize the students and general public about the menace of this dreadful disease...Cash prize and refreshment were followed after the events....First we pledge to remove this menace not from the society but from our home....Few beautiful moments were captured during the event🚭🚭🚭🚭🚭🚭🚭🚭

Today on dated 20/05/2024 first PTM of Him Modern Sr Sec Public School Ponda for the academic session was held under the chairmanship of sh Nirmal Nêgï . Sh Yash pal ,Secretary , sh chint Ram Masoi ,worthy member of teaching faculty,respected parents and Pradhan GP Nichar, sh Raj Pal Nêgï ,President PTM sh Dev Raj Nêgï were present in the meeting … Approximately 100 plus parents have participated in the meeting.. The formation of new PTM body was held under a very conducive environment.. The Principal of the school highlighted the achievements of school and the different school activities for the academic session 2024-25.. The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks to the chair . Discussions were held for the betterment of students and to uplift the standard of education…view reviews and suggestions were drafted and recorded .. Hope next PTM would be a grand success and majority of parents would definitely participate even in much higher numbers and with full of curiosity and vigour….

Today on the eve of 🚭WORLD NO TO***CO DAY🚭 HIM MODERN SR SEC PUBLIC SCHOOL PONDA KINNAUR (RESIDENTIAL &CO EDUCATIONAL)commemorated different activities like QUIZ, DECLAMATION,and rally to aware students and mass about the demerits due to the consumption of smoking and non smoking products..All the houses namely LAKSHMI HOUSE,BHAGAT HOUSE AND AMBEDKAR HOUSE demonstrated their painting competition.Management, Principal and teaching faculty were present on this occasion.All the participants were given accolade for their excellent presentation.The theme for this year is 🍜🍜🍜WE NEED FOOD . Heartfelt congratulations to all the students for their outstanding performance in class 10th board exam.The overall result of HIM MODERN SR SEC PUBLIC SCHOOL PONDA was 100%. ISHA NEGI got first position in NICHAR BLOCK by securing 630/700 and 619/700 by SAKSHAM and 611/700 by ROHIT...
