*REPORT ON VISIT TO GURUDWARA SAHIB ON OCCASION OF BAISAKHI BY STUDENTS OF ST.PETER CONVENT SCHOOL, RAKHRA*
To maintain communal harmony and respect, it is very important for children to understand about the different religions and the culture.On auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, Students of *St.Peter Convent School,Rakhra* were taken to *Gurudwara Sant Ashram Dhablan* on *13th April( Thursday)* . The students were excited about this new experience. They followed the procedure and accordingly covered their heads, washed their hands and feet before entering the Gurudwara. They paid their due respect to the holy book ‘ Guru Granth Sahib’ , said a small prayer and also relished ‘ *Prasad* ’ . Students were also taken to the ‘ *Langar Hall’*
The main purpose of the visit was to accustom the students to start praying at an early age, seek blessings of the Almighty and acquaint them with the significance of these holy places.
