CIIL, in collaboration with Akashvani Mysuru, has initiated the production of Hindi Learning Lessons project for Kannada speakers.
On 1 June 2026, from CIIL Dr. Biresh Kumar,Dr. Vijayalakshmi F. Patil, Dr. Amit Kumar Jha, and Shri Chethan Baji participated in the recording of lessons for this project. The initiative aims to provide a systematic and learner-friendly audio-based resource for Kannada speakers seeking to acquire proficiency in Hindi.

Dr. Pankaj Dwivedi delivered a session on “India’s Multilingual Heritage” on 30.05.2026 at IIT Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for the Jharkhand delegation from IIT Dhanbad under the 6th Yuva Sangam Programme, organised as part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative of the Government of India.
The session highlighted India’s rich linguistic diversity, multilingual traditions, and the role of Indian languages in strengthening cultural understanding, national integration, and the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.

CIIL, in collaboration with Akashvani Mysuru, has begun the recording of Hindi Learning Lessons for Kannada speakers.
As part of this initiative, a total of 90 lessons will be developed to support learners in acquiring Hindi through a structured and accessible audio-based format. On 26.05.2026, Prof. Basavaraja Kodagunti, Director, CIIL; Dr. Pankaj Dwivedi, LJRO, CIIL; and Dr. Vijayalakshmi F. Patil recorded the introductory session for the project.
The initiative reflects CIIL’s continued commitment to promoting Indian languages, multilingual education, and language learning through innovative and public-oriented platforms.
Discussions are also underway between CIIL and Akashvani Mysuru to expand this initiative to include Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and other Indian languages in the future.
