He established Sri Patanjala Yoga Shala at Parakala Mutt, Mysore in 1984. For the last 10 years he has taught at Mysore Krishnamacharr Yoga Shala, under the management of Kanchen Mala. Mysore Krishnamacharr Yoga Shala is dedicated to teaching all aspects of yoga, including Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Philosophy, Chanting, Ayurveda, and Teacher Training. We provide certification for all of our courses
including Teacher Training. Located in central Mysore, we offer a clean, private space in which to practice Yoga. Multiple subjects may be taken during this period to create a complete and in depth yoga experience. Asana is taught in the mornings and various other subjects are taught through the day. We offer accommodation nearby for those who prefer to have a short walk to classes. Mysore Krishnamacharr Yoga Shala places great importance on the traditional system of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and bases its teachings on the original scriptures that pertain to yoga. The school is open to all yoga students from all cultures who are sincerely interested and ready to learn.
