Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated with a pride at Urooj Public School.

Students dressing symbolised the state flag and various activities were conducted.

More significance was given on Kannada language skills.

Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and fervor in our school premises by our tiny tots on 19th September. Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations involved storytelling sessions, art and craft activity where students create beautiful Ganesha idols.

At Urooj Public School we teach students to be Indians and respect each other traditions and culture. Varmahalakshmi and Onam festival was celebrated with zeal where all the kids were dressed up in the festive attire and a significance behind the celebration was imparted. Various activities were conducted to mark the celebration and a clay model of mythical-demon king Mahabali was prepared by the students. Clay modeling enhance child's sense of touch, sight, smell, along with coordination skills, motor skills, dexterity, and so much more. Colourful lotus were gifted to our tiny tots.
