NIECEFEST’14 inaugurated at NIE
The growth of electronic industry is gaining brisk pace said Mr. J. Kasinathan, Managing Director, Advanced Electronic Systems, Bangalore, here this morning.
Inaugurating the two-day NIECEFEST’14, a technical fest that is being conducted by the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mr. Kasinath said that India’s export in electronic sector during 2010-11 was about US$ 11 billion.
Mr. Kasinath released ‘eSamhitha’, electronic version of Students’ Newsletter of Electronics & Communication Engineering Department. The NIECEFEST’14 is conducting events like: Robo Fifa, stack project exhibition, national level paper presentation, hardware quiz and C coding.

The Centre has designed various tracks and modules as per universally accepted body of knowledge. The tracks are:

4. High performance Computing and Data Centre
5. Embedded Technologies
