Block Printing Training for Children
Children from Kaliyuva Mane participated in a Block-printing training programme on October 2nd and 3rd, organised by Antharbhaava Foundation, Bengaluru, under the guidance of Janaki Madam.
During the two-day training, the children learned the art of block printing on shawls and blouse pieces. The hands-on experience encouraged their creativity, enhanced their artistic skills, and introduced them to a traditional craft that can also provide future livelihood opportunities.
We sincerely thank Smt. Janaki Madam, Sri Ramesh Santhanam of Paadhai for connecting us with Janaki Madam, Dr. Shiva Kumar for providing accommodation and food for our children, and Antharbhaava Foundation for this wonderful opportunity to learn, create, and explore their talents.
