Outreach activity of NSS Unit, JSS AHER, Mysuru.
Day spent with tribal school children is worth of living and most memorable day. NSS Unit, JSS AHER, Mysuru Organized a Outreach Program on 6th Oct 2023 @ Neralakuppe Tribal School, Hunsur Tq. Mysuru Dt. in association with Karnataka State Tribal Research Institute, Mysuru.
NSS Volunteers, NSS POs of constituent colleges of JSS AHER, were participated in the program.
Nutritional awareness and assessment, awareness about millets, free health screening & treatment and distributions of some sports material's and play with them were some of activities done during the program.

Staff of JSS AHER adopted Zoo animals for Rs. 1,21,000.00 for the period of one year. One Tiger and three more animals are adopted. Team NSS coordinated all the activities.

Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India is sending a 200 member Indian Youth delegation to China from July 2nd to 9th to promote mutual understanding of values and culture among students and develop better relations between India and China.
We are proud to inform that two of our students Inchara Bhavith and Deeksha Shetty are selected for this prestigious delegation.

The Youth Delegation is a programme conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports is sending 200 -member Indian Youth Delegation to China from 2nd to 9th July 2019. The main purpose of the visit is to promote mutual understanding of values and culture among the youth and to develop better relations between India and China. Representing all parts of the country, the Youth Delegation actually is a contingent of youth selected from across reputed Institutes in India who are involved in Social Service especially through NSS. These representatives are sent for cultural exchange or youth festivals in some friendly country to represent India and also learn from the host country’s culture.
This year, out of five students selected from Karnataka, two student volunteers from JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research viz., Mr. Inchara Bhavith BN, MSc Biochemistry student from Department of Water and Health, and Ms. Deeksha M Shetty, MBA Hospital Administration student from Department of Health System Management Studies, have been selected. Bhavith has won accolades for kick boxing and martial arts, while Deeksha has won accolades in the field of yakshagaana and folk dance. The volunteers have been active in National Service Scheme and shall be an inspiration for other student volunteers to involve in the social service.
The administrative authorities, staff, and students of JSS AHER wish them bon voyage and a great learning experience.
