ಮೈಸೂರು: ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಪಾರಂಪರಿಕ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಶಿಥಿಲಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರಾಜ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ನೆಲಸಮಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೇಯರ್ ಪುಷ್ಪಲತಾ ಜಗನ್ನಾಥ್ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಮೈಸೂರು ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಯರ್ ಪುಷ್ಪಲತಾ ಜಗನ್ನಾಥ್ ಶಿಥಿಲಾವ್ಯಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರಾಜ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಒಡೆಯಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಬಾಟ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ಅಂಗಡಿಯವರು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ‌ ಕೇಸ್ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೂ ಈಗ ಕೋರ್ಟ್​ನಿಂದ ಕಳೆದ 3 ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ದೇವರಾಜ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಈ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್​ನಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಇದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಆದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಮಾಲೀಕರಿಗೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆಯೋ ಹಾಗೇ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
