Fresher’s Day of Farooqia College of Pharmacy, Mysore was celebrated on 4th - Mar -2023.

Graduation Day and 40th Annual Day" of Farooqia College of Pharmacy, Mysore was conducted on 4th - Mar -2023. The Chief Guest for Graduation Day was Dr. Shacindra Nargund, Director, Nargund College of Pharmacy, Bangalore & Kasturi S, CEO, Founder Partner, SRK Health Care was the Chief Guest.
Delivering his graduation address Dr. Shacindra Nargund and Kasturi S advised the young graduates to be more serious to update the skills and be dedicated to the profession.

The Graduates of B.Pharm, Pharm-D & Pharm-D (PB) received their Certificate of Graduation from the hands of Dr. Shacindra Nargund and Kasturi S.
The College honored the University toppers of FCP for the academic year 2021-2022.

Miss. Ruksar Banu, was felicitated for receiving Prof. M L KHORANA MEDAL prestigious award instituted by IPA for scoring the highest marks in the Final year B. Pharm examinations amongst all the Universities and colleges in India. A Rs.10000/- cash price from Mr. Waseem-ur-Rahman Shariff, ADC (Donor of Award in memory of his mother to B.Pharm topper)

Free Vaccination at FCP

Free Vaccination Drive in Association with District Health Office, Mysuru completed for all the Staff members & more than 80 students today. Kudos to the NSS officer & student Co-ordinators & thanks to all the District Health Officials Mrs. Shabeen Taj, Health Assistant & Ms. Radhika, Junior Health Assistant of NR Health department for Vaccinating our FCP staff & students.

A Proud Moment for FCP

Two of our PharmD students Ms. Aishwarya Anand & Mr. Abdul Kadir Khan received felicitation from the Director and Doctors of CSI Holdsworth Memorial Mission Hospital, Mysore for their outstanding service, dedication & Sincerity in delivering Professional work & assisting Dr's in the treatment of Covid-19 patients. Our students were involved in

Management of Oxygen saturation in ICU with patients on BIPAP and Ventilator. Doing general procedures like urine catheter, ABG, Swap Collection, IJU HD Catheterization etc., Management of complete medicine treatment of COVID patients & assisting the work assigned by the consultant Drs In the Hospital. This will definitely enhance more value to them, organization and to the Profession.

They received felicitation from the Director, Mr. Vincent Pallanna, in presence of Dr. Ruben Prakash, Chief Surgeon, Dr.Mohan Kumar, ICU Intensivist, Mr. Nisar Ahmed, Associate Professor and host of other Drs of Mission Hospital. Proud of you guys and their mentors.

Covid Warriors

18 students of Farooqia College of Pharmacy, Mysore Joined today with Zone-6 Officials of Mysuru City Corporation for Door-to-Door survey to identify the symptomatic cases by Checking the thermal temperature & SPO2 level with Pulse Oximeter as part of the Dist Administration activity. The Team is Headed by AC-6 Sri Manjunath & Other Corporation Officials.

To all those strong women, who bears all the pain and faces all the difficulties just to make their kids & Family happy and comfortable, Wish you a heartfelt Mother’s Day !

Educational Tour to OOTY

BPharm 7th Sem students recently visited Ooty as part of their Educational Tour. Students visited Botanical Garden, Wenlock downs, Cairn Hills, tea garden etc & spent valuable time in Learning during their educational tour & social meet.

Fresher's Day of Young, Newly Joined students of DPharm, BPharm, PharmD & PharmD (PB) of FCP was conducted on 24th Feb-2021. The Chief Guests were Padma Shri Awardee Prof. Akhtarul Wasey, Vice-Chancellor, Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur & Dr.M.D Karvekar, Professor Emeritus, RGUHS & Former EC-Member, Pharmacy Council of India.

The Guests advised the Fresher's about their responsibilities as a Pharmacists and citizen of our country. During this Function the newly elected Pharmaceutical Society Members were presented their Sash, Name Plate and Certificates. Gold Medallist Dr. Safiya was Felicitated by the Management of FCP for Getting 3 Gold Medals in her academic career of PharmD and getting the name & fame equally to our Farooqia College of Pharmacy. Other Meritorious Rank achievers & class toppers were also felicitated by presenting them the Memento's and certificates. The Journey has begun to our young Pharmacists as a member of Farooqia. PHARMACEUTICAL SOCIETY of FCP (2020-21)

Pharmaceutical Society of FCP was Installed for the academic year 2020-21 during the "Fresher's Day" celebrations on 24th Feb 2021. The newly elected members were Honored by the Chief Guests Prof. Akhtarul Wasey & Dr. M.D Karvekar with Designated Metallic Name plate, Sash & Certificate.

All the members of Pharmaceutical Society are elected in a mutual and unanimous decision ONLY, by the toppers of each class.
Pharmaceutical society is an elite, Premier society or body which is elected based on their academic performance. Only top Rank achievers are invited and made involved in this Institutional activity.
a) They become a part of decision making in preparation of academic calendar of events.

b) Members of the Pharmaceutical society become directly responsible in organizing Sports, Cultural and other co-curricular activities for the students.
c) The top office bearers become part of the Official Institutional programmes and occupy dais along with other dignitaries.
The main role of a Pharmaceutical Society is "to promote the interests of the Institution and the involvement of students in the affairs of the College, in co-operation with the Administration, parents and teachers".
