Praveen Kumar S studied mechanical engineering at IIT Madras. He has worked as a science & mathematics facilitator for the last 14 years to a diverse group of students from 6th standard to research scholars. Praveen is the Chief Strategy Officer & Head, Education at Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement and oversees all the Education activities of the organization. He designed and set up, with his team, the first science exploratory park of the state of Karnataka at Saragur, HD Kote taluk. The science park was replicated at Jamshedpur by Tata Steel. Through his work with science teachers, he has built a network of over 2000 teachers across the state of Karnataka for their capacity building. His work was listed among the “20 Most Innovative Uses of Technology in Education in India” He has also participated in drafting the Vision 2025 – Education Policy document of the Govt of Karnataka.
