From Baking to Entrepreneurship — A Montessori Experience

Cooking and baking are an important part of our Elementary Environment. Through these real-life experiences, children develop independence, coordination, concentration, responsibility, and practical life skills.
Our Elementary children recently learned the process of baking cookies—from preparing the ingredients to baking, packing, and presenting them for sale to our parents.
Selling their own work gave them a meaningful experience of work, exchange, value, and responsibility. The money earned will be used towards their upcoming outings, helping children understand that their collective efforts can contribute to their own experiences and explorations.
This is the beauty of the Montessori Elementary journey—learning through purposeful work, collaboration, and real-life experiences.

Independence Day Learning 🇮🇳
Our Elementary children explored India’s journey to Independence, learning about British rule, freedom fighters, kings and the sacrifices that brought us freedom.
Through map work, they explored our states, capitals and their connection to India’s freedom movement. 🌏
The Montessori environment nurtures cosmic awareness, gratitude, respect and a sense of belonging.
Today, they also independently baked cookies to celebrate Independence Day. 🍪🇮🇳
