ಮುಂಡಿಗೆ: ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಒಗಟಿನ ಕವಿತೆಗಳ ಪರಿಗಣನೆ

ಮುಂಡಿಗೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಒಂದು ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಪಾರಿಭಾಷಿಕ ಪದವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹದಿನಾರನೇ ಶತಮಾನದ ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಂತ ಕವಿ ಕನಕದಾಸರು ರಚಿಸಿರುವ ಈ ಕವಿತೆಗಳು ವಿಸ್ತೃತವಾದ ಒಗಟಿನ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ. ಇವು ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾವ್ಯಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಹೊಂದಿವೆ. ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೇ ಶತಮಾನದ ಅನುಭಾವಿ ಕವಿ ಅಲ್ಲಮಪ್ರಭು ಬರೆದ ಬೆಡಗಿನ ವಚನಗಳೂ ಈ ಮುಂಡಿಗೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಮ್ಯವಿರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.

ಮುಂಡಿಗೆಗಳು ಸರಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕ ಶೈಲಿಯ ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಇತರ ಕೃತಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿವೆ. ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಉತ್ತುಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿರುವ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ಇವು ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆಯೆಂದು ತಜ್ಞರು ಊಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದ ನಿಗೂಢತೆಯೂ ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಕಂಡುಬರುತ್ತದೆ, ಇದು ಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ಅಜ್ಞಾತಪ್ರಯೋಗಗಳಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗಬಹುದಾದ ಅಪಾಯವನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಇರಬಹುದೆಂದು ತೋರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಮುಂಡಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಪಾರಂಪರ್ಯದ ಸಂಕೇತವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ನಿಕಟ ಪರಿಚಯವು ಅಗತ್ಯ. ಈ ಕವಿತೆಗಳು ಪುರಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಬೇಡುತ್ತವೆ. ಹರಿದಾಸ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ತಜ್ಞರೂ ಕೂಡ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಕಷ್ಟಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇವು ಕೇವಲ ಗಾಯಕೀಯರಲ್ಲ, ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೂ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿವೆ.

ಮುಂಡಿಗೆಗಳು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಳು ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಕುತೂಹಲವನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೀಪಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಆಳವಾದ ಚಿಂತನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಲು ರಚಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಅನನ್ಯ ಕೃತಿಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಕೃತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ವಿಭಿನ್ನತೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವುದು ಅವರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಆಳವನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ದರ್ಶನಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ.
