Sri Guru Rohit Arya is a Yogi, Author, and Polymath, being a Spiritual Mentor, a writer, a mythologist, and a vibrant speaker. He has written the first book on Vaastu to be published in the West, {translated into five European languages, and Hebrew} the first book on Tarot to be published in India, co-authored a book on mini yagna called Sacred Flames, and is the creator of The Sacred India Tarot {82 card deck and book} based on Hindu epics and Puranas. He was the Editor of The Leadership Review, and on the advisory panel of Indiayogi.com, the first spiritual portal in the country. He was the Director of Pro-Factor, a leadership and change facilitation corporate training outfit. He has been an art critic and socio-cultural commentator for over two decades. Sri Guru is also a Lineage Master in the Eight Spiritual Breaths system of Yoga. He founded the Arya Yoga Sangha in 2012 and leads multiple meditation circles each week.

Vivekananda Institute of Indian Studies,(VIIS) & Swaralayam Arts Forum, Houston, USA had organized the Final Event of the 13th Annual Sulochana Pattabhiraman Utsavam on 30th of Dec 2021. Mr. Praveen Kumar S presided the program and Dr.Rohitha Eswer was the Chief Guest. The program included prize distribution for winners of Classical music competition, painting, and essay writing competition followed by a music concert by winners. Also, a workshop on essay writing was conducted at noon.

Vivekananda Institute of Indian studies and Swaralayam Arts Forum, Houston, USA are jointly organizing a Carnatic Classical Music Competition to pay homage to renowned Carnatic Classical Musician Smt. Sulochana Pattabhiraman . The competition includes vocal, percussion, string, and wind instrument categories. The students are expected to present a Kriti along with a brief manodharma within a time limit of 6 minutes.

The five-day workshop on "Tribal Literature and Culture" organized by Karnataka Sahitya Academy Bangalore in collaboration with Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement Mysore was successfully concluded on 6th Sept 2021. Distinguished guests who graced the occasion of the closing ceremony included Shri Shantaram Siddhi, Member, Vidhana Parishad Yellapura, Dr. L Gomathidevi, Chancellor of the Maharani Cluster University Bangalore, Dr. Kumar G S, CEO of Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement, Dr. B.V. Vasanthakumar, President, Karnataka Sahithya Academy and Dr. Nilgiri Thalavar, Director of the workshop committee.

Karnataka Sahithya Academy in collaboration with VIIS-SVYM Mysuru is organizing a unique 5-day workshop on "Tribal Literature and Culture" through 2nd-6th Sept 2021. The event was inaugurated by Dr. R.Balasubramaniam, Member Capacity Building Commission, GOI & Founder SVYM at the picturesque location of Viveka Tribal Centre for Learning, Hosahalli, H D Kote Taluk, Mysuru Dist. About 43 participants from across Karnataka are having an immersion into the aspects of Tribal Literature & Culture.
