šØI RETURNED TO MY OLD COLLEGEā¦ONLY TO FIND A SNAKE HIDING INSIDE THE CHEMISTRY LAB! šš±
While I was busy handling another snake rescue from a car garage, my phone suddenly rang. On the other end was a staff member from St. Philomenaās College with an urgent messageāāThereās a snake inside our Chemistry Lab!ā
After completing the first rescue, Rahmath and I rushed straight to the college premises. The entire staff was waiting outside the building, visibly anxious. We were led into the Chemistry Lab where everyone pointed towards an old Almirah placed in a dark corner near the entrance.
With my torch switched on, I carefully checked the narrow gap between the wall and the Almirahā¦and there it wasāan Indian Rat Snake, silently coiled and watching its surroundings.
Reaching into the tight space, I gently secured the snake and safely brought it out. Within seconds, the staff gathered around, relieved but surprised. Most of them were convinced it was a Cobra. I explained the identification features and reassured them that it was a harmless, non-venomous Indian Rat Snake.
I suggested releasing it into the green patch within the college campus, but the staff requested relocation as students frequently move around the area and they didnāt want to take any chances. Respecting their concerns, I safely bagged the snake.
What made this rescue even more special was the fact that I once studied in this very college. Walking through those familiar corridors brought back a flood of memories. A rescue mission had unexpectedly turned into a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
After a brief chat with the staff, I left the campus and released the Rat Snake into a suitable natural habitat where it could continue its important role in nature.
Sometimes, a rescue isnāt just about saving a snakeā¦itās about revisiting the places that helped shape your journey. ā¤ļøš

As effective conservation actions lead to increasing wildlife populations, they often come into conflict with burgeoning human populations with which they share space. ONE WRONG STEPā¦AND THIS DEADLY VIPER WAS RIGHT UNDER THE CROWDāS FEET!āš³š
A huge Adult Russellās Viper was found hidden so perfectly inside dry leaves, dust, and roadside debris that nobody could even notice its presenceā¦šØš
Myself, Rahmath, and Munaf were already handling another Russellās Viper rescue when I received an urgent call saying, āSnake has settled inside debris right in front of our house!ā Without wasting a second, we completed the ongoing rescue, started our vehicles, and rushed nearly 15kms to the next location.
As soon as we reached, a huge crowd had already gathered near a roadside tree. One person pointed towards a pile of swept dry leaves and dust near the footpath and said, āThe snake is inside this.ā But honestlyā¦nothing was visible to the naked eye. The camouflage was INSANE.š³
I slowly started removing one side of the debrisā¦and there it was. A BIG Adult Russellās Viper tightly coiled inside the litter, blending perfectly with the dry leaves. One careless move and anyone couldāve accidentally stepped on it.šØ
The moment I gently touched the snake with the hook, the viper suddenly started moving out towards the crowd. Within seconds, I controlled the situation, safely grabbed the tail, lifted it using the snake hook, and moved away from the public. Since all our snake bags were already occupied with other rescued snakes, I used a big chocolate jar to safely secure this beautiful yet highly venomous viper.šā ļø
After the rescue, I spent time spreading awareness among the locals and advised them to immediately clear debris around houses, maintain proper lighting outside homes, and avoid clutter near footpaths because snakes often move during night hours and may settle silently in such places.
Another successful rescue. Another life saved. Another reminder that awareness matters more than fear.šš»š

2026ās FIRST BABY RUSSELLāS VIPER RESCUE INSIDE A HOUSE GARDEN! š³
After finishing my work, I went to chill with my friends Sayam, Hisham, and Rahmath at a café⦠but suddenly I got a panic call ā āThereās a BABY Russellās Viper right in front of our house, please come fast before it disappears inside vehicles or the house!ā šØ
Within minutes, all four of us rushed to the location. The family had already come outside in fear, while one man used his vehicle light to keep an eye on the tiny deadly snake hiding inside the small garden area. A teenager showed me the video he captured⦠and the moment I saw it, I confirmed it was indeed a BABY Russellās Viper. š®āšØš
The snake had crawled from the house side, climbed the small garden wall, and vanished between the bushy plants. Since vipers are masters of camouflage, one wrong move could make us lose sight of it completely. Me and Rahmath carefully moved the plants⦠and suddenly I spotted the tiny viper slowly crawling towards a flower pot and broken tile piece before settling behind it. šā ļø
As soon as we removed the tile and pot, the beautiful yet deadly baby Russellās Viper revealed itself completely! Meanwhile, Sayam got too excited seeing the stunning little viper and jumped in front to click pictures before I safely picked it up by the tail and immediately secured it inside a chocolate plastic jar. Rescue successful! š«šā¤ļø
I later warned the family to stay extra cautious because spotting one baby Russellās Viper could mean more hatchlings nearby. I advised them to protect their children, keep footwear safely, and always dust shoes/slippers before wearing them. The baby viper was later released safely into nearby natural habitat. šæ

CUSTOMERS WERE EATINGā¦WHILE A MASSIVE SPECTACLED COBRA WAS HIDING INSIDE THE RESTAURANT!š±š
I was having lunch when I received a panic call from a restaurant manager saying,āSir! A huge snake has entered our restaurant again! Staff and customers are terrifiedā¦please come quickly!ā
Without wasting a second, I grabbed my rescue gears, picked up my friend Sayam on the way, and rushed to the location. The moment we entered the restaurant, the staff surrounded us in fear and immediately took us to an old unused boiler room behind the restaurant.
The room was dark, dirty, and filled with loose mud dug up by huge rats and bandicoots. Every step I took, my feet sank deep into the soil. The staff ladies kept banging the iron door from outside, hoping the snake wouldnāt escape into the restaurant.
As I carefully started removing mud near the rat holes, suddenly Sayam shouted,āHEAD! HEAD! Itās coming out!ā
For a split second, the cobraās head emerged from another holeā¦then vanished back into the soil. I quickly moved towards that side and started clearing the loose mud with my hook.
Then suddenlyā¦THE SOIL BESIDE MY FOOT STARTED MOVING.š³
Within seconds, a BIG ADULT SPECTACLED COBRA exploded out of the ground with its hood fully spread and tried to escape through the room. I stood completely still, waiting for the perfect moment. The second its tail emerged from the soil, I secured the cobra carefully and supported its long body using the snake hook to avoid sudden strikes.
As I walked out carrying the massive cobra, the entire restaurant staff froze in shock. Some were terrifiedā¦while many ladies folded their hands and started praying seeing the cobra with its hood fully raised on the hook.šš»š
After safely bagging the cobra, I educated the staff about cleanliness, proper waste management, and rodent control because this was already the SECOND cobra rescue from the same restaurant.
Remember:āIf there are rodents, snakes will follow.āā ļø
Later, the beautiful Spectacled Cobra was safely released back into its natural habitat far away from human disturbance.šæš

MIDNIGHT HORROR UNDER THE SHOEā¦š³š1:40AMā¦while everyone was asleep, a deadly surprise was hiding right under the shoe inside their houseā¦šš»āāļøšØ
I was working late night on pending tasks when I received an unknown call. The man on the other side sounded terrified and said, āSir, thereās a baby snake under my shoe inside the houseā¦please come fast!ā I immediately closed my laptop, grabbed my rescue gears and rushed to the location.
As soon as I reached, I saw a man standing outside in the dark waiting for me. The entire family was gathered near the entrance, panicked and scared to even step inside properly. The shoes were kept in the porch areaā¦and thatās where the real shock was waiting.
I slowly lifted the boot and sockā¦and there it wasā¦a newly born baby Spectacled Cobra.šā ļø
The moment I identified it as a cobra, the family was completely shocked. Even though it was tiny, the baby cobra raised its small hood and body defensively, tracking every movement happening around it. That tiny sizeā¦but deadly venom.š³
Since the snake was extremely small, I carefully used an empty soft drink bottle to safely rescue it instead of using a snake bag. I then explained to the family that baby snakes are also fully venomous and if one hatchling is found, thereās a possibility of more nearby from the same clutch.
I advised them to seal cracks, clear weeds around the house, keep surroundings clean and always check shoes or slippers before wearing them.
After safely rescuing the baby cobra, I released it into a nearby natural habitat far away from people and houses.šæš

šØ1 AMā¦Everyone Was Sleepingā¦But DEATH Was Hiding Inside Their Living Room!š±š
One midnight call changed everythingā¦š
I was in deep sleep when my phone rang around 1 AM. Seeing an unknown number at that hour, I instantly knew ā it was a snake rescue call.
A terrified family from the outskirts of Mysuru reported a snake inside their house with ābands on its body.ā The location was nearly 26 KM away from me, but there was no time to waste. I quickly got ready, picked up Rahmath, and we rushed to the spot in the middle of the night.š
As soon as we entered the house, the entire family was sitting terrified on the sofa, watching the snake from a safe distance. The snake was hiding under the TV stand in the living roomā¦right where the family had been sitting moments earlier.š³
When I bent down and spotted the snake, my heart skipped for a secondā¦It was a DEADLY COMMON KRAIT ā one of Indiaās most venomous and silent killers, even more venom potent than a Spectacled Cobra.ā ļøš
The lady of the house said:
āTHIS SNAKE WAS RIGHT NEXT TO MY FOOT WHILE I WAS SITTING HEREā¦āšØ
One wrong movementā¦one unnoticed stepā¦couldāve turned deadly.
As I carefully tried pulling the snake out using my snake hook, it suddenly disappeared behind the TV stand and slithered straight into a kidsā toy box. I had to remove every single toy carefully while the entire family watched in fear. Finally, beneath the toysā¦there it was.š³
I safely lifted the deadly krait using the snake hook and secured it into the snake bagger. I then educated the family about the Common Krait, its dangerous painless bite, nocturnal behavior, and how often it gets confused with the non-venomous Wolf Snake.
After the successful rescue, we safely released this beautiful yet deadly snake back into its natural habitat away from human settlement.šæš

THEY FOUND SNAKE P**P & SHED SKIN INSIDE THEIR ROOMā¦BUT THE REAL SHOCK WAS STILL HIDING INSIDE!š³š
Around 11AM while I was at home, I received a panic call from a family saying they had found snake p**p and a piece of snake skin shed inside their room. They immediately locked the room because there was a toddler at home and feared the snake could still be hiding inside. I rushed to the location along with Rahmath.
As soon as we entered, the family showed me the small piece of shed skin they had kept on the table. One look and I identified it as an Indian Rat Snakeās skin shedding. The moment the room was opened, I noticed fresh snake p**p on the floor and the room was packed with stored baby items and household सामान. Me and Rahmath carefully started searching every corner by moving items one by one.
During the search, we started noticing more pieces of freshly shed skin scattered across the floorā¦and suddenly while shifting a huge carton box, we spotted a tail disappearing deeper into the corner!šØ
We quickly moved the box completely and there it was ā a sub-adult Indian Rat Snake hiding behind a bag after partially shedding its skin. The shed skin was still attached till the stomach region while the remaining part lay on the floor beside it.
I safely rescued the snake and informed the shocked family that it was a non-venomous and harmless Indian Rat Snake. They couldnāt believe the snake had been inside their house the entire time and they only became suspicious after spotting the p**p and skin shed.
I later educated them about the importance of Rat Snakes in controlling rodents and advised them to keep surroundings clean and clutter-free. The rescue ended with the snake being safely released into a suitable natural habitat.ššæ

A KING OF DARKNESS WAS WAITING AT THEIR DOOR AT MIDNIGHTā¦š±š
12:30 AM. Dead silence. Then a phone rings twice ā and the voice on the other end was pure panic. āThereās a MASSIVE snake right in front of our door ā PLEASE HELP US!ā I threw on my gear, jumped in my vehicle, and raced through the dark streets following nothing but GPS and adrenaline.
I arrived to find the entire family LOCKED INSIDE their own home, peeking through windows too terrified to move. And there it was ā a BIG, ADULT SPECTACLED COBRA, coiled under a chair in the portico, hood ready, presence COMMANDING. One wrong move and this story ends differently.
The familyās son had spotted it first ā their dog going crazy, barking non-stop, and when he looked through the window to check⦠he locked eyes with one of Indiaās deadliest snakes sitting inches from their door. šØ
I placed my bag and pipe at the edge, stayed calm, and used the SIMPLEST method ā just a gentle nudge. The cobra moved with full royal arrogance, glided through the gaps of the security gate like it owned the place⦠and slid STRAIGHT into the bag. Never even touched it. Mission complete. šÆ
I spoke to the shaken family ā reminded them that snakes donāt come to attack. They come for food. They come for shelter. WE are the ones expanding into THEIR world.
The cobra was safely released into its rightful home ā the wild. šæ
From panic to peace ā thatās what rescue looks like. šš

11:15PM⦠A MASSIVE COBRA HIDING RIGHT BELOW THE SHOE STAND INSIDE THE HOUSE⦠ššØ
It was around 11:15PM when I received a panicked rescue call⦠āAnna please come fast! Thereās a HUGE snake inside our house!ā I immediately grabbed my rescue gear, picked up my friend on the way, and rushed to the location.
As soon as we entered the gate, three terrified men pointed straight at the shoe cabinet and said, āThe snake is hiding right there!ā I slowly bent down, slid my phone camera under the cabinet⦠and there it was⦠a BIG ADULT SPECTACLED COBRA tightly coiled in the darkness.š„
The moment I tried pulling it out using the snake hook, the cobra started making loud defensive hissing sounds. Suddenly, it burst out from the gap and slithered directly towards me at full speed!ā ļø I immediately stepped back, controlled the situation, safely lifted it using the snake hook, and moved towards the rescue bag.
While observing the snake, the cobra suddenly p**ped out of fear, making everyone panic even moreš
So I explained to them that snakes often do this as a defense mechanism whenever they feel threatened or stressed.
What caught my attention the most was its BEAUTIFUL and UNIQUE spectacled hood marking on the back of its hood⦠absolutely stunning!š After safely bagging the cobra, I warned everyone to ALWAYS check their slippers, shoes, and footwear before wearing them, especially now because baby cobras and vipers are actively moving around and may hide inside unnoticed.
The rescue ended safely, and the cobra was later released back into a nearby suitable habitat far away from human disturbance.

SEASONāS FIRST BABY COBRA RESCUEā¦š AND IT WAS HIDING RIGHT BESIDE THE HOUSE GATE!šš³
I was heading out with my friend when I received an emergency call from a resident saying, āAnna, thereās a tiny snake near our gateā¦looks like a baby cobra!ā The moment I heard that, I got insanely excited because this would be my FIRST EVER freshly hatched Spectacled Cobra rescue of this season!š
The caller immediately shared the picture and location on WhatsApp. One look at the image and it was confirmed ā a newly hatched Baby Spectacled Cobra. Without wasting a second, me and my friend rushed to the location.
As soon as we arrived, I noticed neighbours gathered outside, eagerly waiting to see the rescue. The caller was sitting on a bench near the entrance gate and pointed towards the tiny gap between the gate and the bench wall. And there it was⦠the freshly hatched cobra, perfectly still, head facing the wall, not even flicking its tongue once. It was trying to avoid detection ā an inbuilt survival instinct already active from birth. Absolutely incredible to witness a newborn snake already knowing how to defend itself from threats.
I gently picked up the tiny cobra and placed it carefully on the bench platform. Within seconds, it became super active and started trying to escape from my grip. I immediately secured the baby cobra safely inside a chocolate jar for rescue.
I then warned everyone present that spotting one baby cobra could mean there are more hatchlings nearby, since newborns usually donāt travel far from the nesting area. I also advised them to keep footwear safely indoors because hatchlings can crawl into shoes, leading to dangerous accidents. Baby cobra bites are equally venomous and can be fatal.
After ensuring the area was safe, I left the location and released the baby spectacled cobra into a suitable natural habitat far away from human disturbance.ššæ
