Day 3 of SYNERGY 2026 brought the convention to a vibrant close with STREAM Fest 2026 — “Techverse: Machines with a Mission”, a celebration of innovation, creativity and purposeful technology.
The STREAM Fest Project Expo brought together more than 500 students from Grades 6 to 12, supported by around 25 mentors, with nearly 150 interdisciplinary projects on display. From robotics, electronics and semiconductor technology to mechanical systems, adaptive structures, human-centred design, art and media, students transformed ideas into working models, demonstrations and solutions.
The exhibition reflected a progression from exploring the fundamentals of robotics in Grades 6 to 8 to applying the complete design process of identifying problems, researching, prototyping, testing and refining in Grades 9 to 12. Across the projects, technology was explored not merely as a tool, but as a means to address real needs and create meaningful solutions.
The Valedictory Ceremony featured an inspiring address by Chief Guest Prof. Navakanta Bhat, Dean, Division of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Professor, Centre for Nanoscience and Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. His message to students was to dream big, persevere, build ecosystems, make excellence a habit and work together, offered a fitting note for the close of the three-day convention.
The ceremony also featured the official report on SYNERGY 2026 and the prize distribution for the four Day 2 STEM Student Convention challenges — Excelocity, Insight’26, The Big Pitch and Cosmic Clash.
Across three days, SYNERGY 2026 brought together 40 schools, 200 teachers and 500 students, creating a shared space for learning, questioning, collaboration and innovation.
From empowering educators to challenging students and celebrating innovation, SYNERGY 2026 concluded with one message at its heart: meaningful education grows when ideas are explored, tested, shared and turned into possibilities.
