𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬. 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲. 🇮🇳

This Independence Day, Bachpan steps back from the celebrations for a moment to remember those who made it possible.

𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐣𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐡𝐮𝐣𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐢𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞, who laid down his life during the Kargil War in 1999. His last act was guiding rescue operations for a fallen comrade, showing that courage means thinking of others even in your final moments.

𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐲, who refused to abandon his ship INS Khukri in 1971. Standing on the bridge as it sank, he ensured every crew member was safe. He chose duty and honor over his own life.

𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐮𝐤𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲, who, despite critical injuries during an operation in Kashmir in 2014, continued to lead his men to victory. He completed his mission. He protected his team. He made the ultimate sacrifice.

These are our unsung heroes. Not names in headlines, but legacies that echo through generations. They remind us what true patriotism looks like: not words or flags, but the quiet choice to put country and comrades before self.

This Independence Day, Bachpan doesn’t just celebrate freedom. We honor those who gave everything for it.
