The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, VVIET, proudly celebrates the achievement of its final year students at the National Level Project Competition – Electrovaganza ’26, held at SJCE, JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru.
Competing among 25 teams, the project “InvisiLock – An Emergency Aware Smart Door Lock System” secured 1st Place, winning a cash prize of ₹5,000.
The event was graced by Mr. Kewal Deshpande, Managing Director, Tanti, and Dr. Ravichandra Kulkarni (PhD (NZ), SMIEEE), adding great value to the competition.
The expo provided an excellent platform for students to demonstrate innovation, design thinking, and real-world application. Presenting the project enhanced their technical communication, confidence, and problem-solving abilities.

VVIET successfully conducted Mock CET 2026, offering aspiring engineering students a real-time examination experience in preparation for Karnataka CET.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 400+ students across Mysuru and nearby regions. Designed to simulate the actual CET environment, the test enabled students to assess their preparation, improve time management, and refine exam strategies.
The examination was conducted smoothly under the guidance of Dr. Karibasappa Kwadiki, Principal, and Dr. C. S. Chidan Kumar, Program Convener and HoD – Basic Science & Humanities, along with the support of Heads of Departments, teaching and non-teaching staff. The core committee included Dr. Prashanth, Prof. Nafeesulla Shariff, Prof. Sumesh, and Prof. Prajwal.
Participants appreciated the quality of the test and its organized ex*****on, noting improved confidence and clarity in their preparation. The event concluded with a valedictory function featuring cultural activities and prize distribution for top performers.
