VVIET proudly features Ms. Manasa Prabhu, a 2014 Electronics and Communication Engineering alumna and currently Assistant Vice President at JPMorgan & Co., as part of our Alumni Connect series. Reflecting on her time at VVIET, she shares that her college journey was far more than academics, it was a phase where she truly discovered herself.
She fondly recalls the beautiful campus, the daily joy of attending classes, interacting with professors, and spending time with friends, moments that made her college life meaningful and memorable. What stood out for her was how VVIET made learning enjoyable, helping her deeply understand concepts rather than just study them.
Beyond academics, she actively participated in organizing both technical and cultural fests, taking initiative in bringing sponsors and managing events. These experiences played a crucial role in building her confidence, leadership abilities, and teamwork skills. They also helped her develop essential qualities like communication, body language, and the ability to present herself effectively, skills that continue to support her in her professional journey today.
She emphasizes that VVIET not only provided strong technical knowledge but also shaped her overall personality, preparing her for real-world challenges and opportunities.
Her advice to current students is clear and inspiring: say yes to every opportunity, embrace every experience, and trust that each step will lead you in the right direction.
