The Department of Computer Science & Information Technology (CS & IT) at Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering (LBRCE) successfully organized ‘HackWave-2026’, a grand hackathon held for 2nd and 3rd-year B.Tech students on October 14, 2026.
Students enthusiastically demonstrated their technical expertise, innovative ideas, and practical problem-solving capabilities throughout the competition.

Inauguration: The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Dr. V. Suryanarayana (Dean of Industry & Relations), Dr. D. Ratna Kishore (Head of Department, CS & IT), In-Charge Dr. S. Naganjaneyulu, Prof. Dr. B. Srinivasa Rao, and the event coordinators.
Industry Insights: Chief Guest Dr. V. Suryanarayana emphasized the importance of hands-on, practical learning in today's rapidly changing tech environment. He highlighted how hackathons foster creative thinking and critical problem-solving skills necessary to meet industry demands.
Focus on Modern Tech (Flutter): HoD Dr. D. Ratna Kishore spoke on the pivotal role of Flutter in modern mobile and web app development, stressing how single-codebase cross-platform frameworks enable efficient application delivery and build rewarding IT careers.

​We are immensely proud to announce the outstanding achievements of our students at the 13th A.P. State Sub-Junior, Senior & Master Bench Press Championships, held on October 3rd & 4th, 2026, in Tiruvuru under the aegis of Nagubandi Rama Rao Memorial.

The *Department of Computer Science and Enginceering (CSE)* successfully conducted three exciting and engaging technical events — **Flutter Forge, Idea Spark, and Python Code Sprint**. 💻✨

Each event provided students with an opportunity to *showcase their technical knowledge, creativity, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking. From developing applications and presenting creative ideas to solving programming challenges, students actively participated and demonstrated their enthusiasm for technology.
