CBSE Syllabus Reduced for Classes 9 to 12, Download Here
Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has finally released the revised syllabus for classes 9 to 12 for the academic year 2020-21 on cbseacademic.nic.in .
“The revision of syllabi is a measure taken due to the extraordinary situation prevailing in the country and at different parts of the world. Considering the importance of achieving the level of learning, the syllabus has been rationalized to the extent possible by retaining the core concepts,” reads the CBSE notice.
CBSE also stated in its notification that the deleted portions of the CBSE syllabus should not be considered for internal assessments or for the year-end board exams.

CBSE Launches Cartoon Series 'Cogito' and 'The Question book'
CBSE has recently released two cartoon series ' ' and ' Question Book'– A series on Thinking skills .
"Skills connected to Critical & Creative thinking, Problem Solving, Collaboration and Communication are core to successful living in the 21st Century." says
In ‘Cogito’, the conversation between Ankit and Ankita explores how to know the truth of something.
In other series, “The Question Book”, explores the process of problem solving.
JEE Main & NEET 2020 New Exam Dates in September
Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Friday announced the decision to postpone the JEE Main and NEET 2020 examinations. The announcement was made on the basis of the recommendation given by the panel of experts formed by him on Thursday.
Now, the JEE Main Examination will be held from September 1 to 6 , JEE Advanced will be held on September 27 & NEET Examinaion will now be held on September 13.
"Keeping in mind the safety of students and to ensure quality education we have decided to postpone & examinations. JEE Main examination will be held between 1st-6th Sept, JEE advanced exam will be held on 27th Sept & NEET examination will be held on 13th Sept." the minister said in a tweet.
Earlier, the JEE Main exam was scheduled to take place between July 19 and July 23 while the NEET exam was decided to be held on July 26. More than 15 lakh students had applied for NEET 2020 while nearly 9 lakh for JEE Main exams.

CBSE Board Exam 2020 Cancelled for Class 10 & 12
CBSE Board today informed the apex court that it has decided to cancel the CBSE Board Exam 2020 for both 10th and 12th class students, which were scheduled from July 1 to 15.
The board would instead be assessing the students based on the scores of previous three examinations and declaring the class 10, 12 results by July 15.
The board informed the superme court that looking at the challenges and risk factors involved, the board has decided to cancel class 10 exams for CBSE board completely.
For class 12 students, the pending board exams will be optional. CBSE will conduct pending class 12 board exams when the situation is more conducive. However, students alternatively will have the option to opt not to appear for the exam.
