At St. Xavier's Global School, Muzaffarnagar, the spirit of patriotism came alive as the school proudly organised the Bharat Raksha Parv in collaboration with Dainik Jagran. The event was dedicated to honouring the brave soldiers of our nation and paying heartfelt tribute to the families of our martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice for India's freedom and security.
A special moment of the ceremony was the felicitation of the family of Kargil martyr Shaheed Bachan Singh Ji. His wife, Mrs. Kamlesh Bala, and son, Mr. Hemant Kumar, were honoured with shawls, mementoes, and certificates as a mark of the nation's gratitude for their family's unparalleled sacrifice.
The programme was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including SSP Mr. Sanjay Kumar Verma, CO Mr. Laxman Verma, and several senior officers from the police and civil administration. In their inspiring addresses, they highlighted the courage, discipline, and selfless service of India's Armed Forces and encouraged students to uphold the values of patriotism, integrity, and national responsibility.
The event featured vibrant cultural performances by the students, including a welcome song, patriotic songs, and captivating folk dances performed in traditional Rajasthani attire. Their performances beautifully reflected India's rich cultural heritage and deep respect for the nation's heroes.
One of the most memorable highlights of the day was the formation of a spectacular "KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS" Human Formation by hundreds of students, along with a human chain symbolising unity, courage, and unwavering support for the Indian Armed Forces. These moving tributes filled every heart with pride and patriotism.
Addressing the gathering, the speakers reminded everyone that freedom is never freeโit is earned through the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of our brave soldiers.
