✨ A Celebration of Love, Bond, and History! ✨
Ahead of the Raksha Bandhan break today, our campus was filled with warmth, joy, and festive spirit as the talented tiny tots of Classes 1 and 2 presented a vibrant special assembly celebrating the timeless bond between brothers and sisters.
Under the guidance of their class teachers, Mrs. Prerna Bhandari and Miss Renu Verma, the young performers brought history to life through a touching short skit. They beautifully depicted the iconic historical story of Rani Karnavati of Mewar sending a Rakhi to Mughal Emperor Humayun in 1534, seeking his protection against Sultan Bahadur Shah of Gujarat—a timeless tale highlighting the selfless love, duty, and honor behind the festival.
The assembly concluded on a high note with a heartfelt Hindi poem dedicated to Rakhi, followed by an energetic, mesmerizing dance performance by our little stars that left everyone beaming with joy.
Wishing all our students, parents, and teachers a happy and blessed Raksha Bandhan! May this festival bring affection, safety, and joy to every home. 🪔🧵❤️

Our students from CJM Waverley showcased immense intellect, poise, and spirit at the Inter-School Debate Competition organized by the Rotary Club Mussoorie!
Held on August 20, 2026, at Zone Connect, Camel's Back Road, Mussoorie, the competition brought together bright young minds to debate a timely and thought-provoking topic:

🎉 Patriotic Fervor & Pride at CJM Waverley! 🇮🇳✨
Convent of Jesus and Mary, Waverley, Mussoorie, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with overwhelming enthusiasm, unity, and national pride!
The momentous morning commenced with the unfurling of the Tricolor by our esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Chandra Mohan Mishra, Commandant, ITBP Academy Mussoorie, followed by the National Anthem echoing through the hills.
Under the able guidance of their class teachers Mrs. Reena John & Mrs. Namita Our talented Class X students stole the spotlight, putting up a magnificent show. The audience was treated to an inspiring dance drama showcasing India’s rich diversity through an Integrity Dance, soulful patriotic songs, energetic dance performances, and thought-provoking speeches.
The event concluded with an inspiring address by the Chief Guest and a gracious Vote of Thanks. Our respected Principal, Sister Beena John, extended her heartfelt wishes to the entire school community on this auspicious occasion.
To top off the celebration, the school management treated all students to delicious ice creams, followed by an exhilarating DJ dance session and a patriotic Bollywood movie screening! 🍦🎶🎬
