IITM Group of Institution, Murthal has participahas participated in the Industry Connect Programme as organised by All India Council for Technical Education New Delhi in collaboration with Ministry of Education (Government of India), National Education Alliance for Technology (NEAT), Microsoft, Cisco, NASSCOM and IBM.
Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe Chairman of AICTE was the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honor was Vice Chairman of AICTE Prof. M.P Poonia and Chief Coordinating officer was Shri Buddha Chandrasekhar.
NEAT and Ministry of Education has announced a National Educational Alliance for Technology (NEAT) as a Public-Private partnership model between the Government (through its implementing agency AICTE) and the Education Technology companies of India.
During the seminar it was discussed that their target is to provide free internships to forty eight lac students, initially (Engineering and Non-Engineering both).
Mr. Ravi Pratap Singh ( Training and Placement Officer at IITM) elaborated to the stake holders at campus that internships are the mandatory part at the IITM Group of Institutions.
Dr. Rajesh Goel (Director-General) at IITM Group of Institutions, Murthal told his faculty members and students that necessary steps for improving the placements through placement preparation and professional development are being taken with full zeal and enthusiasm.
Ms. Shushma Bajaj (Chairperson), Mr. Munish Bajaj (Vice-Chairperson) and Mr. Surinder Khurana (Administrative Officer), said that “If we think about students (youth), then we think about India”.
