In this Sunday’s Talk, a panel discussion was organized on the topic “The Relationship Between Classical Physics and Quantum Physics.”
* Science teacher Geshe Lobsang Tashi gave a presentation on classical physics.
* Science teacher Geshe Lobsang Tenpa gave a presentation on quantum physics.
In particular, today’s panel discussion was moderated by our science teacher, Mr. Migmar Tashi, who also provided valuable guidance throughout the session. The discussion turned out to be highly engaging, informative, and interesting.

On June 13, 2026, coinciding with the first year of the ETSI One-Month Summer Program for the 1st Cohort of the Specialization Phase and the 2nd Cohort of the Sustainability Phase, Drepung Gomang Monastery hosted a special luncheon in the presence of the Khen Rinpoche (Abbot) to honor four distinguished guests: Geshe Lobsang Tenzin Negi (Professor at Emory University), Mr. Tsondru Samphel (Director of SEE Learning), Mr. Dawa Tsering (Senior Translator for ETSI), and Mr. Karma (Senior Coordinator for ETSI).

On this occasion, the Monastery expressed its deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for their long-standing dedication to advancing the profound and visionary initiatives of The 14th Dalai Lama through numerous historic and large-scale projects ( CBCT and SEE Learning and so on) around the world. The Monastery also sincerely thanked them for their continuous support and invaluable contributions to science education programs within the monastic community.

Today, for our Sunday Talk program, we specially invited Dr. Jigme Gyatso (PhD), who gave a talk on the topic of diet and lifestyle, followed by an open Q&A session. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to him for his insightful talk on the importance and benefits of following the dietary and behavioral guidelines taught in the Sowa Rigpa (Science of Healing) tradition.

As previously announced a few days ago. Today, we could start English classes for Geshes and monastery staff who are interested on learning the language.
The course structure consists of two levels: an Intermediate (Foundational Level) class and a Basic (Beginner) class, which will be held on an alternating basis.
Time: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
