The Christmas celebration at Ryan International School, Chembur, was observed in a spirit of joy, reverence, and togetherness on 23rd December. The occasion served as a meaningful reminder of the values and message associated with the festival.

The programme began on a calm and prayerful note with the Lord’s Prayer, creating an atmosphere of devotion. A Bible reading followed, highlighting the significance of the birth of Jesus Christ and its message of love and compassion. A special prayer was then offered, seeking blessings for peace, goodwill, and harmony within the school community.

Adding to the festive mood, the school choir presented melodious prayer hymns that uplifted the gathering and filled the hall with warmth and serenity. The celebration concluded with a soulful closing hymn, after which the school anthem and the national anthem were sung, reinforcing unity and respect among all present.

Overall, the Christmas celebration was a memorable and enriching experience, inspiring students and staff to embrace the true spirit of Christmas through kindness, faith, and mutual respect.

Christmas tree making activity was conducted for Grade 4 students in the school.
The activity was organized to spread joy and develop creativity among students.
Students used chart paper, green paper, decorations, and craft materials.
The children actively participated with great enthusiasm and interest.
They decorated their trees with stars, bells, and colorful ornaments.
The classroom looked bright and festive after the activity.

Over the last 3 days the Montessori Section celebrated the Christmas season with a variety of different colourful creative activities like making a Christmas Wreath with a straw and paint, a Christmas Tree with Palm prints and many more. The children were thrilled creating something new everyday as well as learning about Christmas and why it is celebrated.
The activities were conducted with the aim of getting the children into a festive mood as well as nurturing their creativity.

Students of Ryan International School attended a ceremonial event that was conducted in a well-organised and disciplined manner. The programme began with the commencement of commentary, followed by a route march by the Sea Cadet Corps and the entry of the band, creating a formal and patriotic atmosphere.
An operational demonstration by helicopters was one of the highlights of the event and drew keen interest from the students. The arrival of the Chief Guest marked an important moment, followed by the playing of the National Anthem. The programme then continued with the Beating Retreat and Sunset Ceremony, during which the Naval Ensign was lowered with due respect and honour.
Further highlights included a fly-past, a commando operations demonstration, and cultural performances such as the Sailor’s Hornpipe Dance and the Naval Central Band display. The event concluded with the National Anthem and synchronized illumination. Overall, the visit was informative and inspiring, instilling a sense of discipline, patriotism and respect for national traditions among the students.

Ryan International School, Chembur, hosted a lively International School Exchange Programme as part of the Children’s Festival, welcoming students from Denmark, Latvia, Greece, and Germany. The visitors were given a warm Indian welcome, creating an atmosphere of joy and excitement.

The programme featured cultural dance performances by the visiting students, showcasing the uniqueness of their countries. Ryan students also presented traditional Indian dances, making it a beautiful exchange of cultures. A special highlight was the Indian cuisine counters, where the guests enthusiastically tasted a variety of Indian dishes and enjoyed the flavours. Date: 11.12.2025
Mountain Day was celebrated with a colouring activity in the Montessori Section. The children enjoyed colouring a scenery with mountains. Teachers also explain how mountains are formed and that they consist of high peaks where snow falls. The most famous and highest mountain range in India being the Himalayas.
This activity was aimed at not only enhancing the children's creativity but also increasing general knowledge.
