What if a planet slightly larger than Earth orbited a tiny red dwarf star just 17.4 light-years away? ✨

GJ 3323 b is a fascinating exoplanet that completes one orbit around its star in only about 5.4 Earth days — compared with Earth’s 365-day journey around the Sun.

EARTH V/S KAPTEYN C

What would Earth look like beside a distant Neptune-like world?

Kapteyn c is an exoplanet orbiting Kapteyn’s Star, about 12 light-years from Earth. Its year is only about 121.5 Earth days, and it orbits its star at just 0.311 AU.

Unlike Earth, Kapteyn c is thought to be a much more massive, Neptune-like planet — a fascinating example of how diverse worlds beyond our Solar System can be.

EARTH V/S GJ 3323 C

Just 17.5 light-years away, around a small red-dwarf star, lies GJ 3323 c — a confirmed exoplanet that reminds us how many worlds may be hidden beyond our Solar System.

🌍 Earth
Our home. 365 days for one journey around the Sun.

🪐 GJ 3323 c
At least 2.31 times Earth's mass, with a year lasting only about 40.54 Earth days.

And there's an even bigger mystery…

GJ 3323 c receives only about 17% of the starlight Earth receives. We still don't know what its surface looks like, what its atmosphere contains, or whether it has conditions suitable for life.

Every exoplanet we discover is another reminder:

The Universe isn't empty.
