16th January, 2026 Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC-ACE), Innovation & Entrepreneurship Cell (I & E Cell - ACE) jointly with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC-ACE), ISTE Faculty Chapter ACE, Computer Society of India ACE & IEEE Atharva SBC62431, Atharva College of Engineering, Mumbai, celebrated “National Startup Day” in association with the Department of Humanities and Applied Sciences.
The event was conducted for the Students and Faculty Members of Atharva College of Engineering as well as open for External participants. The session led by Prof. Karuna Bilakhia (Asst. Professor - Dept. of Humanities & Applied Sciences) highlighted India’s Startup infrastructure and ecosystem and how it plays a major role towards making India a self-reliant country. The session also encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career path and to actively contribute to the innovation-driven economy.The session received an excellent response from both students and faculty members.

28th February, 2026 Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC-ACE), Innovation & Entrepreneurship Cell (I & E Cell - ACE) jointly with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC-ACE), ISTE Faculty Chapter ACE, Computer Society of India ACE & IEEE Atharva SBC62431, Atharva College of Engineering, Mumbai, celebrated “National Science Day” in association with the Department of Information Technology.
The event was conducted for the Students and Faculty Members of Atharva College of Engineering. The session led by Mr. Ameen Aga (Atharva Alumni & Intern, Atharva AR/VR Labs) highlighted the contributions of scientists towards national development and emphasized the need to nurture scientific temper and innovative thinking for sustainable and inclusive growth. The session also recognized the achievements of scientists and encouraged participants to appreciate the role of science in society as well as motivated them towards thinking scientifically and innovating using the gift of Science in everyday life.

2nd February, 2026 Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC-ACE), Innovation & Entrepreneurship Cell (I & E Cell - ACE) jointly with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC-ACE), ISTE Faculty Chapter ACE, Computer Society of India ACE & IEEE Atharva SBC62431, Atharva College of Engineering, Mumbai, planned & successfully conducted a “Workshop on Design Thinking, Critical thinking and Innovation Design” in association with the Department of Humanities and Applied Sciences.
The Workshop was conducted for the Students and Faculty Members of Atharva College of Engineering. The Workshop by Mr. Ajay Ghodke (Project Manager, Intel) focused on the thorough understanding of Design Thinking, Critical Thinking and provided participants the opportunity to learn about the process of problem detection to project creation through various intellectual activities such as giving random problem statements for the students to collaboratively ideate and work on in a given timeline. The Session was sincerely appreciated by both students and faculty members.

The Session was conducted for the Students of Shree Ram Primary School by the student members of ACE IIC and ACE I&E Cell along with Prof. Chaitanya Kolte(Asst. Professor, HAS Dept.).The Session received an excellent response from students willing to find valuable insights on Atal Tinkering Labs and tools like Arduino kits,3D printers & sensors and by encouraging students to experiment with such tools and face real-world challenges; collectively fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among students.

The Seminar was conducted for the Students and Faculty Members of Atharva College of Engineering as well as open for external participants who were eager to gain valuable insights from Dr. Rushikesh Shukla (Doctor & Radiologist) on the process of innovation ideation, development of technologies and technology readiness level(TRL) as well as the importance of Commercialization and how it shapes lab technologies. The session also highlighted the concept of Tech Transfer and emerging technologies that shape the world we live in. The session received an excellent response from both Students and Faculty members.

The Workshop was conducted for the Students and Faculty Members of Atharva College of Engineering as well as open for external participants who were keen to gain valuable insights from Mr. Vedant Aluwalia (CEO - Dataviv Technologies) on how Sales and Marketing play a crucial role towards the foundation of any business or startup as well as the importance of market analysis, branding, digital marketing, and customer relationship management, enabling students to understand how they can utilize effective sales and marketing strategies for their ventures.

The Hackathon was conducted for the Students and Faculty Members of Atharva College of Engineering as well as open for external participants. The event was organized to promote creative thinking and innovative problem-solving among students via a Hackathon. Participants presented their ideas and received valuable feedback from experts and faculties. This interaction helped students improve their ideas, gain confidence and better understand real-world challenges through practical demonstration and guidance and shared experiences. Participants with exceptional innovative projects were rewarded.

The exhibition was conducted for the Students and Faculty Members of Atharva College of Engineering as well as open for external participants to showcase their extraordinary innovations, ideas, prototypes and enable meaningful interaction with mentors, experts, investors for feedback and collaboration; recognize promising ideas for incubation, acceleration or funding, encourage campus-wide participation to build an innovative culture and engage Innovation Ambassadors and experts to mentor and reward the participants.

The session, led by the representatives of the Ministry of Education, offered valuable insights on the effective implementation of strategic measures discussed at the Union Budget 2026-27 by Shri Narendra Modi, Honorable Prime Minister of India under the theme “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas – Fulfilling Aspirations of People”, with a focus on Education, Skills and University Townships by bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, academia and stakeholders to accelerate towards the vision of Viksit Bharat Participants learned about the key initiatives of the Union Budget 2026-27 supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in education. The session was livestreamed for wider accessibility, allowing students, faculty, and staff to engage virtually.

28th January, 2026 Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC-ACE), Innovation & Entrepreneurship Cell (I & E Cell - ACE) jointly with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC-ACE), ISTE Faculty Chapter ACE, Computer Society of India ACE & IEEE Atharva SBC62431, Atharva College of Engineering, Mumbai, planned & successfully conducted “ AI for Atmanirbhar Bharat : HEI Pre-Summit Engagements towards IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026” under HACKDECK 2.0.
The HACKDECK 2.0 Project Competition, conducted for the Students of Atharva College of Engineering, provided a platform for young innovators to present innovative ideas through exhibitions and presentations. The event engaged students, faculty, and Innovation Ambassadors to offer constructive feedback and mentorship support. Through industry expert Mr. Jaideep Pawar ( CEO - GRAMepay ), valuable insights regarding AI awareness and value-chain, AI-driven career pathways, AI-enabled pedagogy, ethical use of AI Tools and AI-developed future ready academic programs along with a strong HEI-Industry collaboration were shared; contributing significantly towards the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026.
